If you want to increase your followers, try adding these "three things" to your profile
When I said on Twitter, "I'll do profile consulting!", the response was greater than I expected, and I realized that everyone is struggling with their profiles. It's hard to understand yourself on your own, isn't it? I'm the same way.
I don't necessarily think my know-how is the only right answer, but after working as an editor for about 10 years,I've started to see what makes a profile that gets followed,so I'm going to write about that today.
In conclusion, my personal theory is that it is important to convey the following in your SNS profile:
① Reliability ② Content ③ Charm
is important, which is my personal theory.
Why these three things?
Think about a situation where you meet someone for the first time in real life.
First, you'll look to see, "This person doesn't seem like a bad person." You'll look at their appearance, like their clothes or hairstyle, and ask what they do for a living. If they don't seem suspicious there, you've cleared the first hurdle of "reliability."
Whether you decide to associate with them further depends on, "Whether this person will bring me some benefit." Knowing what you want to know, or having something you want. Being at ease together, or having them listen to you, can also be a benefit. Let's broadly call this "content."
Finally, there is "charm." If you can trust them, they bring you benefits, and you also think, "Oh, they have this playful side too," then you'll get even closer. By this point, they might be closer to a "fan" than a "follower."
Even in real life, you can shorten the distance between people with these three things: reliability, content, and charm. Therefore, my idea is to let people feel that on social media as well.

In my case, it looks like this.
① Reliability
I guarantee my reliability by using my "real name" and "company name." This shows that I am not a suspicious person.
② Content (Expertise)
Since I am an editor, I show that you can get content related to editing and writing from me.
③ Charm
It's a bit calculated, but I add charm. In my case, I wrote that I like potato salad. It's better to be as specific as possible here. Writing "Jagariko" is "cuter" than writing "snack food."
Your profile is your "first impression" on social media, and it is the "touchstone" for whether or not you will be followed. Please try to polish it through trial and error!!
