Did President Trump say that...?

One day, a story came out of nowhere.

“The air conditioning business is going to become a billion-dollar industry.”

And apparently, the person who said it was President Trump, or maybe not...🤔
(Truth aside)

My wife's first reaction was, of course, this:

Wait, air conditioning???
Our air conditioning???

It's low-key, but if it disappears, you're done for.

When you think about it, it's obvious, but:

・If the AC breaks in midsummer, it's hell
・If the heating stops in midwinter, it's a life-threatening situation
・Nursing homes, hospitals, daycare centers—all of them require air conditioning

…This has alreadybecome infrastructure, hasn't it?

It's usually there like the air we breathe, but the moment it's gone, life falls apart.

It's low-key, but it's a
job where demand will never disappearis what it is.

And, in the coming era

Words we hear often lately:

・Extreme weather
・Prolonged heatwaves
・Intensifying temperature fluctuations
・Electricity cost issues
・Energy conservation and decarbonization

All of these are tied to air conditioning.

It's not just about "being cool" or "being warm" anymore;
how to use it efficiently, safely, and for a long time
is becoming incredibly important.

Well, that makes sense. Even my wife thinks, "I can smell the billions..."

But in reality, they are on-site again today

With that dream-like story in the background, the air conditioning technicians in our family are saying this again today.

"Tomorrow, it's up in the ceiling."
"I'll bring the stepladder."
"Make sure to set up the protective covering properly."

Before it becomes a billion-dollar business,
I want you to protect your lower back and knees first 😂
(I'm the wife who will wholeheartedly recommend a lower back and leg protection charm when my husband buys one at the first shrine visit of the year.)

But you know, I think about it.

I hope this is an industry where people who have been doing this one unit at a time,
carefully, seriously, and silently,
will eventually be properly rewarded.

I'll take on the role of the dreamer.

Honestly,
even when I'm told, "It's a billion-dollar business!"
I don't really have a sense of the numbers 🤣
But,

・Protecting someone's summer
・Supporting someone's winter
・Making someone's daily life normal

If this accumulation
eventually becomes a great value.

I'll keep saying it on my own today too.
