The day the air conditioner was installed in the study, and my husband screamed
The long-awaited study air conditioner
The other day, my husband installed an air conditioner in my study.🎉
Originally, there was no air conditioner in this room, but since I organized my desk area, the time I spend working has been increasing more and more.
I thought, 'If I face the summer like this... it's impossible!😂'
So, we finally decided to install one.
A comfortable study life has begun. ...Or so I thought.

My husband started screaming, 'Eek!'
After the installation was finished, my husband suddenly compared the air conditioner in the bedroom with the one in the study.
Then, suddenly—
'Eeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!!!'
...Huh? What??😂
From my perspective, both are white and square, and an air conditioner is just an air conditioner. But according to my husband, there are many things that bother him lol
The bedroom air conditioner was installed by my husband when he had just started working as an air conditioning technician, and the study air conditioner was installed by the current him.
When viewed through the eyes of a seasoned craftsman, I guess there are many things that become apparent.😂
Probably lol. Yeah, I'll just assume that's what it is lol
Actually, a story about how I might have bought that air conditioner at just the right time
Since I have the chance, as the wife of an air conditioning technician, I'd like to share one piece of information for those who are wondering whether to replace their air conditioner.
Are you aware of the 2027 problem?
Starting in April 2027, energy-saving standards for residential air conditioners are scheduled to be significantly raised.
Because of this, there is a possibility that current low-priced air conditioners will no longer meet the standards and cannot be sold, or that the prices of air conditioners in general will rise.
What's even scarier is the talk of last-minute demand.
If people who think 'I should buy it before the price goes up!' concentrate in 2026, there is a possibility that there will be shortages or that it will be impossible to book installation appointments at all.😭
If your current air conditioner is over 10 years old, it might be a good time to start thinking about replacing it.
I've heard that in some cases, even if you try to repair it, the parts are no longer being manufactured...
Things I realized after my study became comfortable
Having an air conditioner makes a world of difference.
Just having a comfortable temperature in my workspace boosts my concentration, and above all, it makes summer less scary.😂
Also, it just so happened that they were out of stock of the basic model, so I'm happy we got a slightly nicer one with a motion sensor.🤤 (I'll say this quietly while suppressing the urge to shout it from the rooftops, but it doesn't have a self-cleaning function! I'll let you figure out the rest.😇)

I still don't really understand what my husband meant by his "Eek!", but I'm just so full of gratitude that he got it installed for me.🫡
For those of you who have been putting off replacing your air conditioner, it might be a good idea to start thinking about it before 2027 rolls around!
Anyway, the next post will be on Saturday! (I do skip sometimes.😭)
The number of days that are gradually getting hotter is increasing, and it looks like it's finally time for that thing to make an appearance, but I wonder when I'll start wearing it this year.😂
See you in the next article!
