This time, I joined a bus tour 🚌 to visit
power spot shrines⛩️ that I had been curious about for a long time!!
I am usually a solo traveler, but I was curious about
"What are bus tours actually like?""Is there any free time?"
"Aren't you tired?"
so I went and experienced it for myself.
To start with the conclusion...
it was more comfortable than I imagined,and it was so fun that I want to join again
💖→ I have already booked my next bus tour 🫣🌻
This time, I will introduce in detail the tour I joined, the pros and cons I actually felt, and even what to bring 🐿️🙌

Bus Tour🚌
This article contains some PR.
The tour I joined this time

What I joined this time is a
* Mitsumine Shrine
* Chichibu Shrine
* Hodosan Shrine
day-trip bus tourvisitingthese.
It is a popular course where you can visitpopular power spotsin Chichibu in one day❣️
It is surprisingly difficult if you try to go around by train or car, so
being able to leave the travel to themwas quite attractive 🤩

Departing from Shinjuku

The meeting place wasthe Shinjuku Metropolitan Government Building parking lot🅿️
We had to meet at 7:15 AM, so it was a bit of an early start, but the meeting place waseasy to understand and I didn't get lost.
There were many other bus tours around, creating a lively atmosphere 😌

I found the staff member wearing a pink jacket and completed the check-in.
I just had to give my reservation name,so it was very smooth.
Seats are pre-assigned.
It's not first-come, first-served, so I think
* Solo participants
* Friends
* Couples
anyone can feel free to join 🤗💞
Break at Roadside Station Chichibu
The first break was at 📍Roadside Station Chichibu.

While chatting with my friend,
we arrived in no time~🙌
Even though it was only 9 AM, I already felt like I had spent a fulfilling day 😌
I bought Chichibu mochi and rice crackers here.
I was also able to use a credit card.

On the bus, the guide told us about
* Highlights of the shrines
* About the deities
* Photo spots
They explain things in detail, and so on.
I felt that the appeal of a
bus tour is that you can enjoy it without having to research beforehand❣️
To Mitsumine Shrine
The place I was looking forward to the most this time📍Mitsumine Shrine!!

Right here, I had a moment where I thought,
Bus tours are the best‼️
The line for the Mitsumine Shrine parking lot was huge🫨 However, because it was a bus tour, we were able to get off along the way and
visit the shrine smoothly
👏 If we had been in our own car, I think we would have waited quite a while😥

⭕️Eating lunch on the bus is recommended
The stay was about 150 minutes. At first, I thought it might be too much time, but in reality, it was cutting it quite close😥 Many of the other participants
bought lunch to go and ate it on the bus
🍚 We should have done that too...! For those joining in the future, if you eat your lunch on the bus, you can secure plenty of time for visiting the shrine⏰
Chichibu Shrine
Next, to📍Chichibu Shrineへ.

Thanks to the guide's prior explanation, the highlights were easy to understand, and I enjoyed it even more🙌 I bought a
child-blessing charm here👶💖
The tiger design is so cute and it's my favorite🐯

Also, the water fortune slips are popular!!!
Many people were enjoying them~😻

If you want to buy souvenirs, this is the place
The
📍Jibasan Store, which was the meeting point, had lots of Chichibu souvenirs😘

* Sweets
* Local sake
* Local gourmet food
and other varieties were abundant.
If you want to buy souvenirs, I recommend this place❣️ You could also use credit cards.

Hodosan Shrine
Finally, to 📍Hodosan Shrine.

Compared to Mitsumine Shrine and Chichibu Shrine, it is compact, so I was able to fully enjoy it even in a short time✌️
What is famous here is the fortune slip‼️
Believe it or not,
above 'Great Blessing' there is a 'Great Great Great Blessing'
🤗
And the result is... Great Great Blessing!!
My friend and I were so excited without even thinking about it😻

Everything written was good, so
I felt happy😌💞
The specialty 'Miso Potato' is exquisite😋

At the shop, I had the Chichibu specialty Miso Potato🍟
The miso was rich and very delicious🥹❣️
PayPay was available.
Return to Shinjuku

Around 18:40, arrived at 📍Shinjuku.
It was almost exactly on time.
Even though I played all day from the morning,
'Is it over already?'
I thought, it was such a fulfilling day😌✨
The bus guide was also bright and kind, and
I was able to spend time pleasantly until the end🙌

Pros and cons of bus tours

⭕️Pros
1️⃣Moving is overwhelmingly easy
You arrive at your destination even if you are sleeping.
2️⃣No driving or transfers required.
You can leave your luggage and go sightseeing
3️⃣Only the minimum necessary luggage during sightseeing.
It was quite light.
4️⃣The guide's explanation is interesting
You can enjoy it even without preparation.
5️⃣Good cost performance
Much better value than arranging it yourself.
❌Cons
Of course, there are some points that I was a little concerned about.
1️⃣ Toilet timing is limited
2️⃣ Free time is limited
3️⃣ Strict adherence to meeting times
For those who want to travel at their own pace it might not be suitable🙅♀️
However,
"I want to sightsee efficiently""I want to make travel easier"
it is perfect for those people🙆♀️

Things I was glad I brought
Here are the items that were especially useful on the bus👇
★Neck pillow

Makes sleeping while traveling comfortable.
★Serum mist

For protection against dryness inside the bus.
★ Handy fan

Essential for visiting shrines in the summer.
Others
* Drinks
* Wet wipes
* Motion sickness medicine
* Jacket
* Mobile battery
* Parasol
* Sweat wipes
* Snacks
About the bus facilities

The inside of the bus was clean and comfortable😻
* USB charging available
* Drink holder available
* Reclining possible

However, there are no tables.
Also, the charging port was only on the wall-side seats.
Bringing a mobile battery will give you peace of mind😌

Summary
This was my first time joining a bus tour, and my honest impression is,
"If it was this easy, I should have joined sooner!"
🐿️
Not having to worry about driving and being able to just enjoy the sightseeing was truly comfortable♪
Actually, right after I got home,
I already booked my next
sunflower field tour🌻
