The Beard Falls in Love.
The train station platform is overflowing with people during the morning rush.
I feel gazes from all around.
They are probably looking at my beard.
My grown-out beard is about twenty centimeters long under my chin, and perhaps because I slept face down last night, it has exploded, looking just like a sea urchin fresh from the ocean.
……I'll soak it in water to fix it later.
Usually, I would kill time by looking at my smartphone, but for some reason, I forgot it at home today.
Until the train arrives, I might as well do some people-watching.
……Hmm?
What I found in the crowd was an exceptionally radiant and beautiful woman.
Long black hair, a slender figure, and a sharp, professional business suit.
At the same time I fell in love at first sight, my body moved on its own.
I pushed through the crowd and called out to her.
"Please trim my beard for me every day!"
At my sudden confession, the woman looked at me and opened her mouth without changing her expression.
"I hate beards, and I have a boyfriend."
I was easily rejected, and that night, I cried while shaving off my entire beard.
I participated in Tarahakani-san's project.
