Woodworking Bunt
The amount of stuff in our garage has been gradually increasing.
I was planning to continue my DIY project today, but...
"Dad! I want to help too!"
...I've been spotted by my son.
Well, since we live under the same roof, I suppose it's only natural he'd find me.
Since a regular DIY project would probably bore him, I decided to turn it into a game.
I turned the garage into a small baseball stadium and started the DIY project.
First, I had my son throw the circular pieces of wood lying on the ground over to me.
He threw four pitches in total, and his control was spot on.
As I caught the wood and fitted it under the object I was building, it became wheels and started to move.
Next, I had my son hold a long, thin piece of wood and get into a bunting stance.
I applied glue to the handle part of the object that was now moving and brought it toward the wood he was holding.
The bunt was a success, and the wooden toy car I was making for my son was complete!
My son immediately hopped on and started riding around, and the garage was filled with the excitement of a victory parade.
I participated in Tarahakani-san's project.
