Slippery High School
I came to take the high school entrance exam as a safety school.
It seems to be famous as a school where you can pass on the first try.
The classroom is incredibly spacious, and the ceiling is almost too high.
Instead of sitting in seats, we were made to sit on a long slide.
The test is a buzzer-beater, and if you get an answer wrong, the slide rises.
At the end of the slide, a box filled with a massive amount of kinako powder awaits.
Isn't this just like something I've seen on a TV variety show?
"Why do you think I chose kinako? It's because... you are all young and mochi-mochi (soft and chewy)!"
Whether it was his best joke or not, the teacher said it at the top of his lungs.
However, no one laughed, and a silence filled the room.
As if nothing had happened, the teacher began to present the questions.
The questions were so unique that no one could answer them.
I don't know the teacher's personal jokes.
Everyone slid off the slide and ended up covered in kinako.
"Since everyone slipped and fell, everyone passes! Congratulations! That was a good slide!"
The teacher, with a beaming smile, clapped for us as we were covered in kinako.
I definitely do not want to enroll in this high school.
I participated in Tara-ka-kani's project.
