My First LINE Emoji Creation [Mini Challenge]

Last time, I thought about making LINE stickers on a whim, but since I use LINE emojis much more often, I changed my mind and tried making emojis instead. Because emojis are small, I was able to manage


40 of them!

For the creation process, I referred to Pukutomo-san's videos. It's aimed at beginners, and the application process is super easy to understand!

I focused on my familiar dumpling girl. I made them based on the expressions I often use in my illustrations.

Also, I made 11 heart ❤️ motifs! I have her worrying, getting angry, and being happy... and so on. The rest is just a collection of things I like. 🍙🍳🐈‍⬛🐢

Behind-the-scenes story

What surprised me was the speed from applying for the LINE emoji to it going on sale. Believe it or not, it was available for sale about 2 hours after I applied!

However, I did get rejected (had to redo it) once.

They said the text was too small. The parts in parentheses. Good work (thanks), Understood (I have), Acknowledged (I have). It seems all the text needs to be visible, so I changed it immediately. After that, I got sales approval smoothly 🤣 Even so, it seems


even the creator has to pay to use them

, so I bought them normally (lol). They were 50 coins (120 yen). By the way, 30 yen out of the 120 yen goes to the creator!
