[For Side Hustle Beginners] Practiced by the World's Successful People! The Science of Waking Up Early to Increase Your Annual Income
Hi there✋
It's Billiken︎︎^_^
I'll get right to it,
Are you good at waking up early in the morning?
I used to be terrible at it.
The warmth of that futon is basically a black hole. Once you get sucked in, it's all you can do just to stay conscious.
Until very recently, I was one of those people who slept until the very last second, brushed my teeth with a zombie-like face, and dashed out of the house with half-open eyes every single day.
Walking to work with my head down, feeling gloomy and thinking, "Work again today..."
Honestly, the saturation of my life was almost monochrome.
But one time, I couldn't sleep because of some worries and woke up earlier than usual.
"Damn it, I can't sleep!" I opened the curtains in desperation, and I was surprised.
Rather than the blaring sound of an alarm clock, a single ray of sunlight snapped my brain awake. I remember how those heavy worries suddenly felt so small, as if I could say, "Well, it'll work out somehow!" and they felt light as a feather, like it was a lie.
Actually, this wasn't just me imagining things; it wasa scientifically backed success principle.
The Shock of "3:45 AM" That Moves the World
In fact, while we are struggling with "just five more minutes...", the world's top leaders are doing something incredible.
・Apple CEO Tim Cook: Wakes up at 3:45 AM every morning!
・Disney CEO Bob Iger: Wakes up at 4:30 AM every morning
・Virgin Group founder Richard Branson: Wakes up at 5:00 AM
What they all have in common is that they protect the "quiet time" between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM.
By having time that no one can disturb, they aren't being chased by their schedules; they are controlling their own days.
The Cruel Truth That "Waking Up Early = High Income"
You might think, "But even if I wake up early, I'll just be sleepy, right?"
However, research from the University of Toronto and others has shown surprising results.
According to the research, morning people are
proven to be more likely to seize work opportunities, achieve success in their careers, and even earn higher wages.
Furthermore, there is data showing that early risers experience higher levels of happiness than their colleagues.
In other words, waking up early isn't just a matter of etiquette; it's the "ultimate strategy" to boost your life.
The Brain's Switch is Flipped by "Light"
There was a proper reason for that "moment my worries blew away" that I experienced.
By bathing in the morning sun, "serotonin (the happiness hormone)" is secreted in the brain, which eases stress and gives you a positive feeling.
Furthermore, because your internal clock is reset by the stimulation of light, your brain reboots the day as a positive one.
Come on, let's start "investing in yourself" tomorrow
Waking up early is certainly sleepy at the moment you wake up.
But even if you go back to sleep for another hour, that sleepiness won't change much. (Actually, you'll be sleepier if you go back to sleep, haha)
I don't think you need to start waking up at 4:00 AM right away. Let's try waking up 30 minutes or an hour earlier than usual. (Especially those of you with daily anxieties or worries!)
And once you wake up, bathe in the morning sun immediately☀️
If you wake up early, you'll create time, and you'll naturally smile more thanks to the sun's energy😊
To you who read this far.
Please, tomorrow, open the curtains and bathe in the sunlight🌅
What? "What if it's raining tomorrow?" you ask?
……In that case, dash out into the rain with all your might. Haha
And try shouting at the sky, "It's raining, really?!"
You'll find it surprisingly funny, and your worries will become irrelevant︎^_^
