Urawa Gachatama Results Report: Part 2
Sorry to keep you waiting! Here is the report on the Urawa Gachatama I spun the other day... wait, is anyone even waiting?
Y-yeah, I thought so😅

I got two duplicates of things I already had, and on top of that, the Hakuro-ho—or rather, the 'Egret's Egg'—which I don't know much about, and this is my third one from the Saitama Kaikan😩
Well, four out of the six were new faces, so I guess you could say I won 4 to 2 (won what, exactly?)
Urawar from Urawa Racecourse

This is the mascot character for Urawa Racecourse, and his name is ✨Urawar✨
If we weren't in Urawa, you wouldn't be able to help but chuckle, but it would likely be recognized as a name you'd find in a prestigious, time-honored family.
That makes sense, since racehorses are thoroughbreds with prestigious pedigrees, making them practically nobility. It's no wonder Urawar is so elegant and gentlemanly💫

My grandparents' house used to be near this Urawa Racecourse,
and on days when there were no races, it was just a wide-open park with absolutely nothing there, so it was a perfect playground for us kids.
When relatives gathered at my grandparents' house, we would all head out there; it was just the right size for playing a little game of baseball.
It seems like there's no trace of those days now that it has undergone a state-of-the-art renovation, but I hear the food at the stalls there is very delicious, so I plan to time my next visit home to coincide with a race day and give it a try💪
Authentic Chinese Restaurant: Wang Long

It's read as 'Wang Long,' like a Chinese character from a fighting game🐲
Actually, I've never been there, so I was convinced it was read as 'Oryu'💦
It's located at the east exit of Urawa Station and is apparently a favorite spot for Urawa Reds players, soccer officials, and supporters. I thought that since I have no connection to soccer, I would likely never go there in my life.
However, the special gyoza that regulars always order looks delicious, and I really want to try it. I'm thinking of luring my son who lives in Omiya to go with me by offering to treat him😁
The Holy Land for Reds Supporters: Sakagura Chikara

As I mentioned above, even though I've never been inside, whenever I pass by the Ito-Yokado, I can't help but notice the bright red interior of 'Sakagura Chikara,' a pub overflowing with customers wearing red Reds uniforms.
It's a famous shop that seems to be known by everyone, not just Urawa residents but anyone who has visited the area, and it's apparently called the holy land for Urawa Reds supporters.
On match days, everyone gathers in front of the monitors to cheer together, sharing in the highs and lows. Honestly, I envy that they can share such a passionate space, and as a former Urawa resident, I might even be a little proud that such a place exists.
Suharaya 140th Anniversary Limited Book Cover (Rare)

Suharaya is a large bookstore with a history and presence that makes it feel like the guardian of Urawa. Since I was a child, my book-loving father would often take me there, and I would spend hours staring at the small fountain in the basement of the main store, known as the 'Fountain of Knowledge,' and the many coins sunk at the bottom.
I was surprised that the underground fountain still exists, but when I went about two months ago, the fountain was turned off, perhaps to save water, and there wasn't a single coin in it.
The Suharaya main store is quite far from Urawa Station, and now there's a TSUTAYA with a Starbucks directly connected to the station, a Kinokuniya in PARCO, branches in the CORSO, and the invincible black ship Amazon, so there's not much reason to go out of my way to visit, and in fact, I rarely go there anymore💦
The sales floor has been significantly reduced, and it has a somewhat lonely atmosphere—a sense of 'glory days gone by' or a 'forgotten continent'—but knowing the bustle of the past, I still think the Showa-retro building, which remains as it was, is worth visiting. I'm grateful that the store I've been familiar with since I was little is still standing, so I intend to remember to visit it from time to time.
So, for a bookstore that has been in Urawa for many years, the cover they put on the books you buy has always had the same familiar pattern, but since this was the first time I'd seen this cover, I thought they had finally changed the design, but it turned out to be a limited 140th-anniversary design!

In other words, since I managed to pull a rare one, I think it's safe to say this time was a landslide victory rather than just 4 wins and 2 losses. 🙌
I'll keep up the good work for the next one, so please look forward to it! 🌟
