Going as far as I can (9/24, Kurobe Gorge)
A weekday trip for the first time in a while.
I thought it would be less crowded and more relaxing than on the weekend, but even in a regional city, the morning commute is crowded as expected.
I departed from Toyama Station on the Ainokaze Toyama Railway and watched as the students got off one by one. After transferring at Uozu Station and continuing on the Toyama Chihou Railway, the atmosphere of the trip gradually began to emerge.

My destination this time is the Kurobe Gorge Railway. I was worried about the weather turning bad, but it was clear all day. I boarded the regular train, the trolley train, which offers an outstanding view.
I came here vaguely wanting to go somewhere surrounded by nature, and it was a great decision.

Due to the impact of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, the last three stations from the terminus are currently closed. The train is turning back at the intermediate station, Nekomata Station.
The harmony between the rugged nature and what humans have built unfolds right before my eyes.
When I stepped onto a side path, I caught a glimpse of a mother monkey and her baby. I tried to walk near the dam, but I got a little worried about bears or other animals appearing, so I turned back.
