If she were to read this text.
"How will others feel when they read my writing?"
This is one of the points often mentioned when writing.
I place great importance on this point.
This is because I believe the writing I produce is not objective. It inevitably becomes subjective.
Therefore, when I revise my writing, I check it from a third-party perspective.
Some of you might wonder, "What is a third-party perspective?" It is difficult to view oneself objectively. At first, I couldn't view my own writing objectively either.
However, I improved significantly using a certain method.
That method is to assume that I am "having a friend read it."
It doesn't have to be a friend; for example, it could be a partner, family member, or colleague. A close follower on note is also a good choice.
In my case, I have a friend who finds everything interesting. She is a reliable and beloved friend who helps me notice strengths I wouldn't have realized on my own.
I imagine how she would react if I had her read my writing.
It's like approaching her and asking, "I'm going to post this on social media, what do you think?" I make revisions while conversing with her in my mind.
Strangely enough, when I check my writing while using my imagination, I can judge it objectively, even if not perfectly.
Since adopting this method, I have become able to view my writing objectively.
There are many times when I can't write well when thinking all by myself, but when I incorporate the perspective of having someone read it, even if only in my imagination, things often go surprisingly well.
This might just be something I can do because I have a vivid imagination.
But I would be happy if this could be a reference for even one person.
