Timon D in My Heart
Thank you for coming to read this.
I am Yuni,
a perfectionist,
a sore loser,
dead serious,
and missing a few screws in my head.
I went for some self-deprecation.

Lately, I've been in a slump regarding writing.
Desperate to do something about it, I read various notes looking for a solution.
Thanks to that effort, I was able to find a solution in terms of writing technique.
However, that wasn't the only reason for my slump.
Without realizing it, I had been brandishing a philosophy of sheer willpower at myself.
"You can do it if you try!"I'd say.
That's right.Timon D.
I keep Timon D in my heart.
They are reliable figures who encourage me positively when I'm about to give up.
When I have some breathing room, I can respond to their support.
However, when the balance between my seriousness, competitiveness, and perfectionism collapses and I lose that room, their cheers become annoying and sound like a demonic spell.
Brandishing a philosophy of willpower that I can't even live up to.
When I feel that way, it's a danger signal.
It's a crisis for me.
By then, I'm already quite cornered.
In such a checkmate situation, "You can do it if you try!" is counterproductive. Anyone can see that.
How to detect it and avoid the danger.
How to recover as quickly as possible with the smallest possible wounds.
The standard is how I perceive Timon D's cheers.
If I think, "Alright, I'll do my best!" and can perform, then that's fine.
But if things I can't do pile up even after trying, and I find them annoying or noisy, it's time for a temporary retreat.
Pull back once, rethink the strategy, and then challenge it again.
I know my own state by how I feel about the Timon D in my heart.
For me, that is the best method.
I wrote this for my future self, who might fall into a similar slump or crisis.
Even if you don't understand what it means, saying this will solve it.
What are you talking about?
