Family bonding✨ First laugh of the year with a 'strengths' test!
My eldest daughter came home on New Year's Day!
I enjoyed talking with her until late into the night✨
I wrote about it in my New Year's Day post too🤗
“The start of 2022 was... full of smiles✨”
We had a good laugh over the
“strengths” test we took there😂
It described us so perfectly (lol)
We discovered some unexpected things, and
once again,
I felt like I truly understood my real self❤️
It was so much fun that
I told my husband and second daughter about the “strengths” test too!
I showed them the chart of 24 strengths,
“Can you guess the top 5 ‘strengths’ for me and my eldest daughter?”
“Which 5 are our ‘weaknesses’?”
We played a game by asking each other questions✨
Will you get it right~
Can you guess it~
Which one do you think it is~
Which one could it be~
My husband and second daughter were
Hmm...
Is it this one?
It feels like it could be this too...
I have a feeling it's this and this~
(lol)
Wrong!
That one isn't included!
(lol)
Oh~!
Then this one?
Could it be this~
I feel like this one is included~
(lol)
Oh~ hehe~
You're close!
(lol)
Huh, what could it be?
What's the answer?
Ta-da!✨
Whaaaaaat!!!
Ahahaha~~~ (lol)
I totally get that~~~~
So unexpected!
This is crazy~~~ (lol)
It's spot on!
So fun~~~ (lol)
😂😂😂
I want to try it too!
I want to do it too!
During the day on the second day of the New Year,
the whole family enjoyed the 'Strengths' test together💕
Understand yourself, and understand each other!
We were able to rediscover each other's 'uniqueness' and more✨
What is the 'Strengths' test...
It's something I introduced in a magazine about deepening well-being😊
VIA-IS survey
https://www.viacharacter.org/survey/account/register
People have 24 character strengths,
and by ranking them, you can understand your greatest strengths and weaknesses!
Because you can use your strengths to increase your happiness✨
This was truly so much fun✨
Why, you ask?
Because it reflected each person so well, and it helped me
understand their unique qualities even better💖
Seeing the things we have in common made me think, "We really are a family," and feeling each person's individuality allowed us to appreciate one another all over again✨🤗
Surprisingly, we already understood each other's strengths quite well!
It was incredibly funny💖😂
The thing that made the family laugh the most was,
that our eldest daughter's lowest-ranked strength (24th place) was,
Self-Discipline
! (lol)😂
We cracked up so hard✨✨🤣
And what's more,
Even my second daughter's lowest ranking was
Self-discipline!
What!😳
Are you serious? (lol)🤣
Well, well, she's still a child, after all!
That's just how it is, right?🤗
And as for my own self-discipline,
it was 21st~~~💦
It's in my top 5 weaknesses~~~ (lol)✨🤣
I can't really say anything about anyone else!
We all laughed our heads off together!
Hey, what about Dad?
My husband's self-discipline was
20th!!!
This one is also in the top 5 weaknesses, too!✨(lol)🤣
Hahahaha~~~~~✨(lol)
What a family with no self-discipline!❗️
So hilarious~~~~~✨(lol)🤣🤣🤣
It was a huge hit!✨💖
We may lack self-discipline, but
each of our strengths is being put to good use, right!
Each person's top
number one greatest strength is✨
Eldest daughter: Curiosity
Curiosity:You take an interest in all of the ongoing experience for its own sake and find all subjects and topics fascinating. You like exploring and discovering. As someone with curiosity as a strength, you are curious about everything. You are always asking questions and find all subjects and topics fascinating. You are a person who loves exploration and discovery.
Second daughter: Kindness
Kindness:You are kind and generous to others and are never too busy to do a favor. You enjoy doing good deeds for others, even if you do not know them well. As someone with kindness as a strength, you are kind and generous to others, and you are never too busy to be kind. You are a person who is happy to do good deeds even for strangers.
Husband: Prudence
Prudence:You are a careful person who does not take undue risks. You do not say or do things that you might later regret. As someone with prudence as a strength, you are a careful person who always makes cautious choices. You are prudent and do not say or do things that you will regret later.
Me: Perspective
Perspective:You are able to provide wise counsel to others. You have a way of looking at the world that makes sense to both yourself and others. You may not think of yourself as wise, but your friends do. They value your perspective and come to you for advice. You possess a worldview that is satisfying to both yourself and others.
It was🤗
(The descriptions for the items are the same for everyone)
One's greatest strength
The top 5 are,
what that person was born with✨
I felt!
It really brings out their true character😊
My second daughter said this!
"The one that is ranked first is the most like that person"
Indeed!✨
Truly, the strength of their individuality!💖
That's what I thought✨😊
Looking at each of the 24 strengths
while comparing them to ourselves and each other,
in a lively, chaotic way,
a moment of family bonding💖
[New Year's laughter, deepening our bonds]
I managed to compose a haiku✨🤗
In the evening, we also
enjoyed playing games together as a family🎮✨
Having time to spend slowly as a family,
and enjoying something together as a family,
is such a heartwarming and very happy time~💕
Since we are an individualistic family,
we usually value ourselves,
and perhaps because we feel valued, we cherish our time together? (lol)😅
We're such a similar family, aren't we?✨
It was such a fun family gathering💖
(I'll share my ranking of 24 'strengths' again tomorrow✨🤗)
