Habits
I'm not good at making things a habit...
Whether it's keeping a diary or posting every day.
When I start trying to continue something,
I feel a sense of resistance.
Maybe it's because of the daily nature or the frequency.
Like a restriction on my movement.
If I don't have room or flexibility in my movements,
I start to feel suffocated.
Even so, for me,
there are things I decide to do and act upon.
It might be considered a habit,
but rather than a habit, it's more of a mindset.
For me, a habit is...
a mindset
, I suppose.♡
The reason I make a mindset my habit.
Thoughts create words.
And in turn, they influence actions.
Because I keenly realize every day that the words we use are important.
Mother Teresa's words are famous.
Watch your thoughts, for they will eventually become words.
Watch your words, for they will eventually become actions.
Watch your actions, for they will eventually become habits.
Watch your habits, for they will eventually become your character.
Watch your character, for it will eventually become your destiny.
It's similar to what I was taught by my parents when I was young,
my parents were strict and didn't pay much attention to their words,
but I was able to understand that their true intentions were here.
What I learned through experience from a young age
is what I was taught by my parents
concisely put into words.
Felt through experience, refined by myself,
and shaped into my own form.
For things I want to make a habit or an action,
I am careful about the words I use.
Because words have power.
As someone who is easily bound by words,
I choose the words I use.
I keep these things in mind,
and hold them in my heart.
Things I want to cherish—by giving them this meaning and making them my
purpose—I believe the significance of valuing them grows.
It holds elements of hope and ideals
that draw me closer to what I aim for or to the thing itself.
Hope and idealsIt carries positive, forward-looking emotions,
and holds elements that create an image of self-actualization.
There are many things I keep in mind.
◾️Do not make assumptions◾️Listen to others' sides of the story
◾️Say "I'm only human"
◾️Say "I am grateful"
◾️Honestly say "Thank you"
◾️Be true to myself
From the article "Things I Keep in Mind"
Beyond that,
there are also things I have set as life goals.
I make the things necessary for living
into habits.
Taking care of my mind and body
Health (physical, mental, and social)
The body is my capital.
When it comes to what I have decided to do and act upon,
Sleep, eat, and move my feet.
I keep the basics in mind,
and turn them into habits.
Sleep【Resting the mind and body, resetting, and balancing】
Eat【Nutritional intake, the source of building the body, the driving force】
Move my feet【Walking, working (including housework), meeting people】
The basics are the foundation and the core.
Good sleep → for the mental aspect
Good meals → for the physical aspect
Moving my feet → for the social aspect
These are essential things necessary for living.
Moving my feet is not just about preventing muscle loss,
it is also connected to meeting people.
As I get older,
moving my feet will also become more difficult.
If I end up confined like being bedridden,
the social aspect will weaken.
In such a case, I will carry out activities like moving my feet
with the help of others.
The function of eating will also decline someday
If you can no longer get the necessary nutrition
You will no longer be able to move as you please
Food is the source of the body
If you cannot eat, you will become weak
If you become weak, it will become difficult to move
What remains at the end is sleeping
And so, people end their lives as if falling asleep
FunctionWhile deeply feeling what that is
In daily life
Always thinking about keeping it functioning
Keep it moving
By keeping it circulating
Temporary measures are fine, but
Take a broader view and keep the movement going
In other words,
Without falling or dropping significantly
Even if it is gentle, stay on a thin line
So that you can move forward
Keep it sustained
I want to keep it functioning like that
The heart is selfish, fickle, and
Because it is something that changes at its own will
Think about the functions for living
Create various mechanisms for yourself
To keep it functioning
In the end, it all becomes obvious things, but
So that I can accumulate these obvious things
Because I am clumsy...
People will surely
Call that skillful
~well-being~
"A better state of being, fulfilled both mentally and physically"
For me,
mental and physical healthis something very important,
and I have made it a life goal.
I live with the belief that happiness lies in these daily accumulations.
Up until now, as a way of spending my days,
mental and physical health
is something I have continued to practice.
