My Favorite Best Album: Ami Ozaki 'Golden Best'
I've been alive for a long time, so there are quite a few things where I think, 'Why did I do that at that time?'
Of course, there are both positive and negative choices.
There are also choices that I simply find mysterious.
Well then, let's go.

・Ami Ozaki 'Golden Best' (TYCN-60139/Universal Music)
By the time I was old enough to understand things, Ami Ozaki was already active as a solo artist and was also providing many songs as a songwriter.
Even though I was listening to those incredibly high-quality works, for some reason, I didn't get hooked on them.
That is what I find so mysterious.
I think the first time I became aware of Ami Ozaki's name was with 'My Pure Lady'.
It was a commercial song, so it stuck in my ears, but I didn't buy the record.
She debuted in 1976 and was 19 years old at the time (!).
'My Pure Lady' was released in 1977, so she was still only twenty years old.
She is a precocious genius.
Let's take a look at a video of her television appearance.
The impression is almost no different from this CD.
Rather than saying it's wonderful, I can only say it's amazing.
Shall we also take a look at a video of her television appearance for the early signature song 'Haru no Yokan: I've been mellow' included on this CD?
This is also amazing! The recording date must be different from 'My Pure Lady', but even watching them in succession, it doesn't make you feel the passage of time. It's a masterpiece.
Speaking of Ami Ozaki as a songwriter, Anri's 'Olivia wo Kikinagara' leaves a lasting impression on me.
This song has been covered many times, but since there is an official video of Anri, that's the one.
Wonderful. There are many works by Anri that I like, and while the album 'Kanashimi no Kujaku', produced by Keiichi Suzuki, is my favorite, I have to choose this one when it comes to songs.
This song was released in 1978, so Ami Ozaki was 21 years old (!) at the time. Wonderful.
Another provided song that left an impression on me is Yuko Kanai's 'Pastel Love'.
This is a video of her television appearance at the time.
It looks like it was during an appearance on 'Yoru no Hit Studio'.
This song has also been covered many times, but Yuko Kanai is a singer I love.
By the way, the first Ami Ozaki CD I bought was from the Otozo series, so that was after entering the 1990s.
It was because Off Course participated in the chorus, and I was overwhelmed by the quality, but I didn't go any further than that.
Honestly, I felt strongly that I had started late, and there were too many other CDs I wanted to listen to, so I couldn't get my hands on it. I missed out.
After that, Ami Ozaki transferred to Pony Canyon and provided songs like Seiko Matsuda's 'Tenshi no Wink' and Alisa Mizuki's 'Densetsu no Shojo'.
She isn't just a precocious genius; she has continued to be a genius.
I'm saying it simply, but this is an incredibly amazing thing.
Also, I have seen Ami Ozaki in person once.
I participated in a public recording when Ami Ozaki and Rei Ohara were guest stars on the NHK BS show 'Motto Kageki ni Paradise', hosted by Shiro Sano and Keiko Terada.
Since Sano-san is a fan of the Mika Band, the public recording was very exciting.
Was it before the two of them got married?
I have a strong impression that both Ozaki-san and Ohara-san were wonderful.
Wait? Did they not perform live? I don't remember. I'm sorry.
It seems Ami Ozaki has a concert scheduled in my local area, so I'm thinking about whether I should go this time.
See you again.
