I did it every morning... The cause of my lower back pain was my "posture while washing my face"
When you wash your face, are your knees straight?
When I talk to people with lower back pain, they almost always say the same thing.
"I didn't lift anything heavy..."
"I didn't do anything in particular"
But you were doing it!
Every morning, unconsciously...

When bending over the sink—
you were leaning forward
with your knees locked straight.
The burden placed on your lower back in that split second
adds up to quite a lot over time.
The habit of posture you've been doing for 365 days a year
slowly and surely wears down your lower back.
The solution is simple.
Just bend your knees slightly forward.
With just that, the forward bend that made you think
"If only the sink were higher..."
becomes much easier.
When I teach this to patients who come to my clinic,
they often have a look of "Oh! I was doing that!"
Once you know it, you can change it immediately.
But if you don't know, you'll keep doing it forever.
Protecting your lower back isn't about special training, but
the accumulation of "little things" every day.
I said accumulation, but
do you realize that while this looks like "addition,"
it is actually "subtraction"?
Eliminating bad habits is not about
adding something from the outside through
training or supplements, but about
removing something that harms your health.
Subtraction requires no time, money, or special place
at all.
