Daily habits, indeed

Playing indoor sports on the Nintendo Switch has become part of my daily routine.
It's great to be able to move my body while having fun!

In addition to this, I do one flight of stairs a day.
I walk down from the 9th floor to the 1st floor, get the mail from the mailbox, and walk back up to the 9th floor.
When I first started doing this, my heart would pound, I'd be out of breath, and I couldn't make it all the way up without taking two breaks along the way.

As I gradually got used to it, I only needed one break, and lately, I take a quick breather on the 7th floor—just a little more to go!—to catch my breath, and once I've calmed down a bit, I head straight up to the 9th floor.

What I've noticed is the sensation in my thighs when walking up slopes; my legs don't feel heavy!

And after my bath, I use a stretch pole.
My back stretches out nicely, my arms reach back in ways they don't usually, and it feels wonderful.

Rome wasn't built in a day; it's all about daily consistency.
I feel that by moving, walking, and using my body, especially during this hot weather, it will make moving around easier in the coming autumn and winter.

It's hot, and it's easy to just drive to the nearby convenience store, but if you walk there instead, you might make unexpected discoveries like, 'Oh, I didn't know this was here!' or have a sudden flash of inspiration like, 'Oh! This might be good!'

I suppose both our faces and our bodies are shaped by our daily habits, right?
Yay!
