*Chapter 2 [Rescue from the Terrifying Darkness]

From that warm world, my consciousness
suddenly plunged into a bottomless darkness.
Terrifying things were
attacking me. I was just 'scared'.
That overwhelming fear itself
dominated everything about me.
I was so terrified that I
could not move a single step from that spot.
In the midst of that, suddenly, from out of nowhere,

like a [Giant Shield], BOOM! A historic and famous temple appeared,
and scattered the scary things in an instant.
However, the fear returned once again.
Once again, I was too scared to move, and
the head priest of a certain temple in Wakayama
found me.
The head priest kicked away the approaching scary things one after another,
protecting me thoroughly.

By his side,
'If you're scared, hide behind me.'
Saying that, the assistant priest
hid me behind his back.
And while chanting sutras,
he walked straight up the long stairs in front of us,
without any hesitation.

I understand now that sutras
have the role of leading souls to a place of light.
That magnificent relay by the temples
protected me when I was about to be trapped in the darkness of fear,
and safely sent me to that world of light where beings who transcend time and space were waiting.
Guided by the powerful voices of the sutras,
I climbed the long stairs to the top,

and finally emerged from the darkness.
There,
as if to guide me,
the Dragon God was already waiting.
'That dragon is the Dragon God of the Kinokawa River in Wakayama.'
Guided by the protection of the Dragon God and the relay of the temples, I was led to the world of light. ──────────────
