Even the inconvenient effort becomes a "charm". Time spent with fountain pens.
There is an irresistible charm to the design and unique presence of the tool known as the fountain pen.
Since I want to try using various colors of ink, whenever I get a new ink, I end up wanting a new pen to go with it. From the fountain pens I have collected through such a cycle, I will introduce a few that are particularly meaningful to me.

LAMY Safari
This is a classic model loved around the world, characterized by its lightweight and durable resin body and a grip designed to help you hold the pen correctly. The large wire clip has a high holding power, making it a practical pen that can be stably fixed to the covers of thick notebooks or pockets.

I also have two with transparent barrels.
Itoya limited model and Traveler's Notebook
The one I like and use the most is the Itoya limited Safari x itoya Copper 01 model. I bought it to go with my favorite Traveler's Notebook, and it is a pen characterized by its copper-colored clip.
I like the matching of the notebook's leather texture and this copper color. When the tones of the tools match, it just makes carrying them around a little more fun.

The third generation currently available for purchase is the matte body pink
PILOT Cocoon
I have a special attachment to this Cocoon.
I sent a commemorative gift to a senior colleague at a company I used to work for when they retired, and this is what I received in return.
It has a simple design, but it has a nice weight to it and is easy to write with. It is a pen that I keep on hand along with memories of my work.

Recommended for fountain pen beginners due to its affordable price.
LAMY studio
Among those introduced this time, this is the model whose design I particularly like.
The studio is a middle-class model in the LAMY lineup. It is a simple yet elaborately designed model, symbolized by its unique propeller-shaped clip. It has a different feel from the light and easy usability of the resin Safari, possessing the calm texture and moderate weight unique to a metal barrel.

Writing is also stable due to the moderate weight.
Recently, digital signatures have become mainstream, so the opportunities have decreased, but I use the studio when a handwritten signature is required.
Kakuno, Lightive
I also make use of inexpensive models such as the Kakuno and Lightive. The Kakuno, in particular, is an interesting presence that has established its own unique position in recent years, with a wide variety of new colors being released and fans who customize it to their own liking.
These are like casual vessels for trying out new inks. They also have the stable writing feel unique to Japanese nibs, and there is a sense of security in being able to pick them up without hesitation.

Conclusion
Compared to ballpoint pens, they require more effort, such as drawing up ink and cleaning, and there are many times when they are inconvenient in practical terms. However, I feel that the beauty of a fountain pen is that even those tedious maintenance tasks can be enjoyed as part of the "charm" of engaging with your tools.
Using your favorite ink color and savoring the act of writing itself. The tools that have gradually increased as I have spent time doing this have now become indispensable on my desk.
Thank you for reading until the end. I hope your fountain pen life becomes even more colorful.
I would be happy if you could give me a "like" if you enjoyed this.
