(Traveler's Notebook) A notebook for collecting memories: Introducing my refills
A companion for travel and city walks. The contents of my Traveler's Notebook for collecting memories
Today, I am introducing my "first notebook," a regular-sized Traveler's Notebook. I carry it with me everywhere, from daily city walks to trips.

The leather aging is still just beginning, so it is still in pristine condition. Rather than letting this notebook get covered in scratches, I intend to nurture it with care so that it develops a soft, rich luster.
While patiently waiting for the cover to change, I enjoy "changing clothes" for the contents to match the destination or my mood for the day. This time, I will introduce my recent setup, which is focused on collecting memories from my travels.
An accent for the notebook: an antique button
The charm attached to the center elastic band is a Burberrys button I received from an old piece of clothing.

It has a dull, brass-like texture engraved with the words "PRORSUM" (Latin for "forward") and the knight emblem. This blends nicely with the brown leather, and whenever I catch a glimpse of it, it makes me think, "It really is wonderful." It is like a personal mark that you cannot find in mass-produced items.
My favorite fountain pen: LAMY safari × itoya copper 01
The pen I pair it with is the Itoya-exclusive "LAMY safari × itoya copper 01."
It features a matte body with a copper clip. This dull luster matches the tones of the Traveler's Notebook's elastic and leather perfectly. I love this "connection of colors," and it makes my writing time feel a little more comfortable.

Refills for collecting
When traveling, I often unexpectedly come across wonderful stamps or pick up brochures and shop cards that evoke a sense of wanderlust. I have equipped this notebook with features to ensure I can bring those "fragments of travel" home smartly without missing them. I make adjustments, such as adding memo refills, when necessary.

Setup configuration
To bring home brochures, stamps, and my favorite paper items without any trouble, I have settled on this setup for now.

Stamp book | Yamamoto Paper "RO-BIKI NOTE (Waxed Paper Notebook)"
The map design evokes a sense of travel. I feel that the wrinkles that form on the waxed paper the more you use it make the record of my travels even deeper.

Accessory Pouch | Yamamoto Paper 'RO-BIKI NOTE CANVAS COVER'
Originally, this is a dedicated cover for wrapping a single notebook, but I incorporate it into my Traveler's Notebook and use it as an 'accessory pouch.' Inside, I tuck away stamps for postmarks, spare ink that matches my copper LAMY safari, and scraps of paper for notes. The calm light blue canvas provides a quiet accent when I open the brown cover.

Organization Tools | Tri-fold holder and sticker release paper
A tri-fold holder for bringing home pamphlets without folding them, and sticker release paper for storing stickers I encounter while out and about. To keep the bulk down, I take the sticker release paper out of the notebook and just tuck in a single sheet. It's a little trick to ensure I have only the functions I need.
Bringing home the things I encounter on trips or while walking around town, keeping their warmth intact. For me, the Traveler's Notebook is an essential tool for 'collecting memories' like that. While patiently waiting for it to age, I plan to continue searching for the setup that suits me best and enjoy dressing it up.
