I tried answering the "100 Questions for Demon Slayer Fans"!

I've been obsessed with "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" lately.
But I'm lonely because I don't have anyone to talk about it with, so if you're a fan, I'd be happy if you felt free to leave a comment.

Though, I guess you can't really leave comments on note. I'm the type who can't work up the courage to comment either...

I hear that fans of Giyu and Muichiro have a high rate of "don't-share-my-fave" (dou-tan kyohi), but I'm actually the type who welcomes other fans because I want to talk about how great my favorites are.

I also look at fan fiction. Rather than being a purist about the original work, I've definitely got some delusions mixed in...!

I watched the rebroadcast of "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc" in 2020 and fell in love with the beauty of the animation and the story 🎴

Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, Episode 1 "Cruelty"

Tanjiro Kamado

His personality is too good! I want an older brother like this!!!
His heart is so pure! Cool! A warm person!

During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
Was it around the time it was most popular with the general public after the original work ended?
I also bought the Demon Slayer canned coffee.
I remember going to the Kura Sushi collaboration too.

I learned about it from the anime rebroadcast and the public's enthusiasm.
I only read the manga to the end recently.
Basically, I'm an anime fan for everything.

Anime fan. Both have their own merits. It's only thanks to the foundation of the original work, but ufotable's animation is just too divine~!

Volume 23, which is fresh in my memory since I read it recently.
I love the whole final chapter.

So far, the interaction between Tanjiro and Giyu in the Hashira Training Arc.
The part like "Giyu-san, Giyu-saaaan, there are no demons! That's great⭐︎".

Tanjiro pushing forward and the bewildered Giyu-san are cute.

I quite like looking at the Kimetsu Academy settings at the end of the volumes.
Also, the Entertainment District Arc. The Kamaboko Squad infiltrating in drag!

The ohagi bit with Giyu, Sanemi, and Tanjiro in the Hashira Training Arc.
"Are you fighting over ohagi?"
"Shinazugawa... do you like ohagi...?"

Everything where a Hashira passes away is painful.
The entire Infinity Castle Arc.

Mugen Train Arc. Rengoku-san's farewell scene.
I sobbed at "Rengoku-san didn't lose!!"

I loved the Hashira Training Arc OP 'Mugen'~
The art is beautiful and there are lots of Hashira.
The contrast between Ubuyashiki and Muzan was also good.

As for the song, 'from the edge feat. LiSA' from the Unwavering Resolve Arc left an impression on me. I only have memories of the spider lilies.

I want to sing it at karaoke, but I don't have enough lung capacity and can't keep my breath going~
I remember the ink-wash style illustrations of Tanjiro and Nezuko in the anime being cute.

Not yet. I'd like to have a Demon Slayer dream.

Giyu Tomioka

He has a good face, a good voice, the coolness of silently protecting others, he's strong, and he's a bit of an airhead which is cute.

In the first episode, I thought, 'Oh, this guy is a handsome character,' and started liking him, but then he didn't appear for a while.

I do. There were various things with the voice actor, but in the end, wasn't it really good that it didn't change...?
Takahiro Sakurai appears in many works, but I like his tone for Giyu-san the best!!

He's a fully realized human being...
The fact that he's positive and never gives up is amazing... he's strong... I think. He's too good a kid!
He's a good talker and his heart doesn't break, so he seems like he'd be a good salesman.

I think her shrunken form is super cute!!
Her human form is also beautiful and cute, though!
The person who thought of the bamboo muzzle for Nezuko is a genius!
Her braided hair in the Swordsmith Village Arc was too cute!

42. Please talk about Zenitsu Agatsuma.
In the anime and movie, the gap is so strong it's like he's a different person, which is萌え (moe).
He's usually a womanizer who's always screaming, but he's actually incredibly strong! What's up with that~!
He's cool when he's protecting Nezuko-chan!
The ultimate gap-moe guy!

43. Please talk about Inosuke Hashibira.
His face is beautiful! Personally, I prefer him without the boar head. In the Entertainment District Arc, his cross-dressing was so beautiful I fell for him!
Inosuke has a free-spirited image, but he acts intelligently during undercover investigations, which is gap-moe.
I would have liked to see him fight with his bare face in the Unwavering Resolve Arc and Mt. Natagumo Arc too.
He's too cute when he gets all fluffy/flustered around the grandmother at the Wisteria House or Shinobu-san.

44. Please talk about Kanao Tsuyuri.
I liked her character design during the Unwavering Resolve Arc, where she felt like a quiet and refined girl.
You can tell she cherishes Kanae-san and Shinobu-san like her real sisters.
I wanted to see Kanao-chan's Hashira training!
She's got nerves of steel, so she probably wouldn't be intimidated by Sanemi or Obanai. I'm looking forward to the animation of Flower Breathing!

45. Please talk about Genya Shinazugawa.
At first I thought he was a bad kid, but after watching the Swordsmith Village Arc, I realized he's a really good boy. It's cute how he's like a naive boy going through puberty. And yet, it's crazy that he's the third tallest after Gyomei and Tengen! He's a kind boy who cares deeply for his older brother.

46. Please talk about Giyu Tomioka.
I thought he was cool, but he's actually a bit of an airhead and cute. I thought he was just a handsome guy who was bad with words, but when it comes to fighting demons, he's incredibly capable. What is up with that!!
The way he risked his life for Tanjiro from the very beginning is so cool, too. His final smile also completely won me over...

47. Please talk about Shinobu Kocho.
First of all, I love her voice! I'm so glad it's Saori Hayami.
I've been captivated by her voice ever since I saw the Mt. Natagumo arc.
She has a loveliness and allure like a butterfly. She's a beauty.
Since our height and weight are almost the same, I really understand Shinobu's feelings of 'If only I were more physically gifted and stronger...'. It was a heart-wrenching battle to the death.

48. Please talk about Kyojuro Rengoku.
I wanted him to live. But I think Tanjiro and the final battle only exist because of the Mugen Train arc and fighting alongside Rengoku-san.
I would have liked to see him fight alongside other Hashira too.
All the Hashira love Rengoku-san! The Kamaboko squad too!
This is a true hero. He feels like a brave leader.

49. Please talk about Tengen Uzui.
I fell in love after watching the Entertainment District arc. I'm really glad it was focused on Uzui-san after the Mugen Train arc. He's handsome, and even with his hair down, he's a looker. He'd be popular if he worked as a host. I like him better with his hair down. That slightly flashy vibe is a trap.
The fact that he has three wives and seems to be doing well is amazing!

50. Please talk about Mitsuri Kanroji.
I'd love to eat the pancakes Mitsuri-chan makes!
I think she's the kindest among the Hashira, or rather, the easiest to talk to! I'd want to be careful about her outfit...
At the first Hashira meeting, she was swooning over everyone, so it's surprising that Iguro-san is the one she really loves. But they look good together, so I want them to be happy...!

51. Please talk about Gyomei Himejima.
He feels like the father of all the Hashira.
Is he really fighting even though he can't see...?
I can't believe it??
The fact that he likes cats is cute.
Because of this person, the height difference among the Hashira is broken.

52. Please talk about Muichiro Tokito.
A coexistence of cute and cool! The youngest genius type.
I like his hair length and color, and both his cold and sweet sides are good. He's a kid who loves Tanjiro!
I want him to wear his hair in braids like Mitsuri and Nezuko, or a ponytail like Giyu. (I saw it in fan art)

53. Please talk about Sanemi Shinazugawa.
He had the worst impression at the first Hashira meeting, but I gradually got hooked in the second half... His sadistic side is irresistible.
He has a tsundere image.
I feel like the anime's art style became cooler starting from the Hashira Training arc. After learning about his past, I thought, 'He's been through a lot...'

I quite like that he's only kind to Mitsuri-chan.
Like Sanemi, he has a tsundere image.
I wouldn't want to take this person's Hashira training. It's scary.
I wish they had delved deeper into his character earlier on. I want him to be happy with Mitsuri-chan...

I love his voice. The 1/f fluctuation. It's healing.
I think he's a very refined person.

I liked his Michael Jackson-style outfit and his cross-dressing look in the black kimono! A charming villain. His voice is good too.

She's too beautiful. A mature beauty who looks good in Japanese clothing.

I only have the impression of him being a hardcore Tamayo-san fan, but I think he played a major role in the Infinity Castle arc.
He has an atmosphere where he could get along with Iguro-san.

I wanted him to stand side-by-side with Giyu-san.
I wanted to see him become a Hashira!

Her voice is super cute!
I wanted to see her fight alongside Sabito and Giyu.

He can be strict, but you can tell he's actually a kind person. Thank you for raising Tanjiro and Giyu! I like the interaction between Nezuko and Urokodaki-san. It's like a grandfather and granddaughter.

His real face is handsome, but... the pressure... is amazing!
