Judd (played by Josh O'Connor, Prince Charles in 'The Crown'), a priest and former boxer who killed an opponent while fighting with hatred during a match, punches a fellow priest and is sent to the 'Church of Our Lady of Eternal Courage'.

The church, ruled by the charismatic 'Monsignor' Wix who expresses intolerant views, is supported by a small but passionate group of followers.

During mass, Wix enters a small room next to the altar, which is closed on three sides, to take a break, but is discovered stabbed in the back.

Master detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is called in to solve this impossible crime that occurred right in front of Judd and the congregation.

Glenn Close plays the nun who supports the church. The cast of followers is luxurious.

- The macho, vulgar, and violent Father Wix is like President Trump.

- Lines like 'You shall not pass' (Gandalf?) and 'And my sword' (Frodo?) seem to be quotes from 'The Lord of the Rings'. There is also a mystery involving treasure in the second half, and 'the treasure destroying its possessor' is also a theme of The Lord of the Rings.

The story is woven together by two threads: the mystery of the impossible crime (locked-room murder) and Father Judd's spiritual growth. There is even a scene where Father Judd says, 'Enough with the detective games. I have to save my followers.'

In the second half, a new impossible crime where the dead rise appears, making it a mystery that keeps you from getting bored.

Seeing Jeffrey Wright, who plays a priest, and Daniel Craig side-by-side made me happy, thinking, 'It's Felix Leiter and James Bond!'
