Notes to read on days when your stomach feels uncomfortable
Today, I felt a sense of discomfort around my stomach.
It didn't happen suddenly.
Events where I felt rejected continued,
the time spent waiting piled up,
and the anxiety of not seeing what lies ahead lasted for a long time.
The body reacts before words do.
Especially after enduring for so long,
the stomach is the first to let you know.
This is not a sign of weakness.
It is not a sign that you are broken, either.
It is a signal that you have endured well.
Right now, you don't need to identify the cause.
You don't need to look for the right answer.
You don't need to decide how to get back on your feet, either.
Just,
"I was this tense, after all,"
if you can realize that, that is enough.
A day when your body stops you first
is not a day to make life decisions.
Today,
you don't need to convince yourself.
You don't need to be positive.
You don't need to look for the meaning of growth.
Place your hand on it,
exhale your breath a little longer,
and do not drive yourself forward right now.
If you can do that,
you have passed for today.
That's right.
