Enjoying small seedlings in small containers

Good morning.
This is Jikatsu.
One of my hobbies is growing plants, but there are many ways to grow them, aren't there?
The world of plants and nature is so deep and enjoyable, but since I don't have a large garden or space, I grow seedlings and houseplants to enjoy it.

If you're wondering what a seedling is, it's a plant grown from a seed.
I didn't sow them myself, but I received some seedlings that sprouted naturally from seeds that fell from the maple tree at home.
When I first got them, they had just sprouted their true leaves.
A while after that, they grew to about this size.

The messy stuff underneath is moss.
The container is a plastic one from a 100-yen shop, originally for somen noodle dipping sauce.
There are no drainage holes, but it's growing without root rot. I just keep the water moderate and don't really give it any nutrients.
I use akadama soil.

And here is the maple as of now.

It has grown steadily.
The summer heat was intense, wasn't it?
I left a fan on for the plants while I went to work.
Even so, people said it wouldn't have much effect in a house that felt like a sauna, but I think it's better than nothing.

It's amazing that if you plant this small seedling in the ground or a large pot, it will become a magnificent maple tree several meters tall, just like the ones growing outside.

It's almost the season for maple seeds to come spinning down.
It's the perfect time for seedlings to germinate.
I used the samarathat fell around June, but it was too early in the season and I failed, so I might try again.
