What if Keita Machida and Liu Xueyi became romantic rivals in the 'Cherry Magic' movie version...

Since around last year, Thai and Chinese comments have started appearing here and there in certain circles. Liu Xueyi is a popular Chinese actor.

The reason I saw such comments is that I was recently watching the Chinese romance drama 'Love at Night' and thought, 'They look alike!' which led me down a rabbit hole of searching.

The similarities between the two.

★ Highly respected by those around them, and gained popularity in their late 20s after paying their dues.

I think my eyes would be so happy if these two, who fit the orthodox adjective 'handsome' better than just 'good-looking,' were standing side by side.

Since both can skillfully handle action, period dramas, and modern dramas, I hope they co-star someday in an entertainment-style drama or fantasy drama that doesn't stir up complex historical sentiments between the two countries.

And, as a romantic comedy nerd, this is the dream I want to have tonight.

In the movie version of 'Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!', Liu Xueyi appears as 'Mr. Liu,' who transferred from the Shanghai branch to the head office.

On Mr. Liu's first day at work, he causes confusion among the staff because he looks exactly like Kurosawa, played by Keita Machida.

Moreover, Mr. Liu is a wizard who can hear the inner voices of those he touches. Since the magic disappeared in the final episode of the drama version and Kurosawa's inner voice could no longer be heard, Kurosawa's thoughts end up leaking out through Mr. Liu.

Mr. Liu is initially taken aback when he secretly learns of the relationship between Adachi and Kurosawa. But as they work together, Mr. Liu also falls for Adachi, and sparks of love fly between him and Kurosawa.

A battle between Keita Machida and Liu Xueyi, saying, 'I love Adachi more!' Adachi is bewildered. Adachi cannot dismiss Mr. Liu's straightforward feelings. Kurosawa gets jealous.
