After the Rain

Among romance anime, one I particularly love is
After the Rain.
It was even adapted into a live-action film!

I was like, "How many years ago did I watch this?" 🤔
so I barely remembered the content, which made it feel fresh 😇✨️

It's a super heart-fluttering story about a high school girl who falls in love with a 40-something old guy adult, but wait? Is it horror? Did someone say it was a horror mystery?
What's so good about it is the contrast between the protagonist Akira's unwavering, pure love for the manager and the manager's maturity.


And the fact that they don't end up together!
(Important) This might be hell for people looking for a happy romantic ending (like marriage), but 😅 Akira, who has a crush on the manager, and the laid-back manager who gets dragged around by her are so cute 😆
This manager is just an ordinary 40-something guy who wants to write novels while working,

but because he's kind, Akira, who is currently going through a rainy period in her life, accidentally fell deep into the swamp of love.

However, unfortunately, the manager doesn't see Akira as a romantic interest.
For me, this is the best part. (That's harsh, I know lol)

Rather than it being about morality, the manager is ultimately someone who hasn't been able to give up on his dream of being a writer,
and he knows from his experience with divorce that living with someone else is impossible.

Even I would find it tough to live with someone who doesn't do any housework.
Well, but that's a separate issue.
