The Resolve to Become Nothing
Even if you leave
regrets behind,
you can no longer go back.
In the silence,
I clear things away with a blank mind.
True purity of heart
comes from the resolve to become nothing.
Within just a single moment,
I insert a "goodbye."

This depicts the state of mind when facing time and choices that cannot be reclaimed here. By acknowledging that "you can no longer go back" (that it cannot be helped), it shows a stance of moving forward strongly to the next stage without indulging in regret.
The passage "In the silence, I clear things away with a blank mind" expresses a stance of accepting reality calmly and facing the settling of one's heart without letting emotions run wild. I believe true purity of heart is not about putting on a brave front, but about having the resolve to become "nothing."
The word "goodbye" included at the end is a symbol of the determination to draw a line within a single moment. People live in the narrow gaps of fleeting time, and I am questioning whether there is a certain aesthetic of parting in having to say goodbye while living through those moments.
Partings often arrive suddenly. I have poured into this poem the sentiment of inserting at least a final word of farewell into the flow of time, and moving forward without looking back.
