Dehydroepiandrosterone

Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a type of steroid hormone secreted by the adrenal glands, and it serves as a precursor (raw material) for sex hormones such as testosterone and estrogen.

It is often called the "rejuvenation hormone" or "longevity hormone," and it is believed to have functions such as anti-aging and health maintenance. It is also said to potentially have preventive effects against symptoms of menopause, osteoporosis, diabetes, and dementia.

Changing the subject, I had the opportunity to go out for drinks with some friends from my hobby circle yesterday. The participants had various backgrounds, ranging from civil servants to employees at foreign-owned manufacturers.
