Like a child who wants to take toys apart
It's a story I hear sometimes, but...
apparently, there are children who aren't satisfied unless they take everything apart.
I wasn't that kind of child.
I've always been the type to 'use the toys I'm given exactly as they are'.
However, inside my brain, the situation is different.
The events happening right in front of me.
The documents I've been handed.
The content of a conversation.
I feel like I am structurally breaking those things down.
Because I have a strong desire to know that structure better, I often end up asking quite blunt (probing) questions. I don't mean any harm, though...
This moment right now is the same.
I am currently structurally assembling the text I am trying to write. In other words, I am writing this text while thinking about its composition. I don't know if that is pleasant for the reader, but I have a structure that I am satisfied with in my own way, and I feel like I am aiming for that somehow.
I wasn't a child who would take toys apart, but I did like LEGO.
Perhaps the reason I want to break down structures is not because of the disassembly itself, but because I am interested in the restructuring part.
