Trial and Error

People who cook.
People who create recipes.
Both exist in this world.

In the real world, those who cook are often more highly valued. This tendency is particularly strong in mature companies. And often, the person who developed the recipe for that dish is forgotten as a figure of the past. This is despite the fact that many of the restaurant's repeat customers were created by the recipes that person devised.

That is the way of the world.
In the first place, 99% of startups in the world likely earn their revenue by imitating standard recipes. And often, it is not just a reworking of those standard recipes, but a complete rip-off.

In the past, the recipe creator was also the chef.
Now, it has become a division of labor.
Because it has become a division of labor, the recipe creator no longer gets the spotlight.

And that division of labor will evolve further, and eventually, an era will arrive where AI will handle recipe creation and robots will handle the cooking...

Unfortunately, from the perspective of 'cooking according to a recipe,' humans absolutely cannot beat robots. If there is any area where we can win, it is only in 'not cooking according to the recipe.' In other words, while having a perfect grasp of the base recipe, one makes fine adjustments tailored to the expressions and atmosphere of the person being served.

Regarding recipes, it is no exaggeration to say that 'all recipes have already been exhausted.' What can be done is to gain empathy through the unexpectedness of combinations of ingredients and seasonings that have never existed before, or through aspects other than taste (such as easy recipes or time-saving recipes).

In any case, the area where humans can beat AI and robots is 'trial and error.' This is because AI and robots (at least at the present time) cannot voluntarily try various things, grasp hints from those many failures, and create something entirely new from them.

No one can stop the rise of AI and robots.
When that happens, we will find our jobs taken away by them before we know it. To prevent that from happening, we must accumulate as much experience in trial and error as we can while we are able to.
