I believe today's post marks my 700th.

I made my first post on note on November 19, 2023. Since then, I haven't missed a single day of posting. (Though I did mess up a scheduled post, so there is a break in the data...)

The reason I started boils down to simply having free time.
And I decided that if I was going to write, I might as well do it every day.

When I first started writing, I intended to write logically about the mechanisms of logistics. That's why, around 2023, I called myself a "person who thinks about logistics scientifically." However, I quickly ran out of logistics topics.

As a desperate measure, I broke down the elements contained within "logistics."
The easiest topics to start with were management theory and environmental issues.
Since logistics is a labor-intensive business, "how to utilize human resources" and "how to lower turnover rates" are directly linked to a company's profits. As for environmental issues, I had experience working on them as a pioneer during my previous job. Back then, I used to hold seminars on reducing environmental impact in collaboration with manufacturers and even went to get my ECO certification.

I think those who practice this will empathize, but posting every day is quite a high hurdle. While searching for topics, it's common to end up in a place different from the direction you had in mind when you started.

In my case, since I started supporting small and medium-sized business owners around last year, my focus has shifted toward management philosophy and strategic design. So lately, I often write loosely in about 500 characters about frameworks and mindsets for logical thinking that business owners need, filtered through my own perspective.

When I think about it, the job I did for the longest time in my previous career was business promotion. Moreover, I was working as a strategist directly under the head of the business division. My current work is somewhat similar to that (and my title is, too).

In that sense, I suppose that is where my strengths lie. That is why I think I am able to continue these posts every day without feeling any discomfort.

What one likes, one will do well.
The path is easy when you love what you do.

...There are many ways to say it, but at the end of the day, I believe the best thing is for everyone to write about what they like in the way they like.
