Finally! Finally! With this article, I have achieved 1000 consecutive days of posting!! Roughly speaking, I have been able to keep writing for about 2 years and 9 months.

Things I learned from doing this for 1000 days

The difficulty of riding the 'waves' of one's condition

Actually, 'continuing something every day' was the most difficult part. After all, humans have 'conditions.' They are like waves; there are 'good days' and there are 'bad days'.

The challenge was how to adjust to those waves.
・How to improve my condition
・How to keep my condition from dropping
・Writing in bulk when I'm in a good mood
・Not forcing myself to write when I'm in a good mood, but just noting down ideas
It required a lot of ingenuity and adjustment, such as these.

Output speed increases

In the beginning, it took me about 1 to 2 hours to write 1000 characters, but now I can write it in about 30 minutes. I was able to use that extra time to enrich the content, such as by adding illustrations or increasing the character count.

Also, my way of thinking has changed a little, and I feel that the speed at which I express my thoughts has increased. Therefore, I feel that I have become able to speak more fluently, even if only slightly, when talking in front of people.

I was able to experience that "persistence pays off."

To be honest, I don't make a living from note or earn my livelihood through writing; it remains strictly within the realm of a hobby. Even so, I feel that by "persisting," I was able to gain the "power" mentioned above.

Also, I was able to cultivate confidence and self-affirmation, which I believe is one of the factors that allowed me to maintain my motivation.

"Just give it a try"

Ultimately, what I realized is that it is important to "just give it a try." Until now, there were many times when I felt fear when faced with questions or uncertainties, which prevented me from taking a step forward.

However, through my posting activities on note, I feel I have gained a very important mindset in life: "Let's just give it a try."

Future prospects

This will be my major theme. Until now, I would seek out information on things I wasn't very interested in to broaden my horizons, but that was also to define my own "core."

Taking these 1000 days as a starting point, I hope to limit my behavioral guidelines a little and move toward increasing my expertise.

Although my themes and direction are not yet fully decided, there are a few things that I feel are "the one!" for me, and I want to specialize in those and move forward.
