The case of a man who decided "not to write about note on note," writing exactly that on note
Hello, I am a running tech dad.
This might be sudden, but for those of you who saw the title and thought, "Wait, isn't that a contradiction?"—you are absolutely right. It is a contradiction. I know it myself.
Today is a story about deciding to live while embracing that contradiction.
The problem where opening note leads to nothing but "talk about note"
I am a newcomer who has only been on note for two weeks, but I have noticed something while browsing around.
A significant percentage of articles with many "likes" are notes written about note, such as "How to grow on note," "Tips for monetizing note," or "The story of how I did X on note."
If you write about note, it resonates with the people inside note (that is, note users). That makes sense, right? If you want to catch fish, the right thing to do is to cast your line in a pond where there are fish.
So, I thought for a second, maybe I should jump on that bandwagon and write something like "10 things a beginner who started note 2 weeks ago noticed"... Just for a second.
But I decided not to enter that pond.
The reason is simple.
-
I still don't know anything about note
For someone who started two weeks ago to talk about "how to grow on note" is like someone who just got their driver's license trying to be a driving instructor. It's unreasonable.
-
There are already strong people crowding the space
There is no chance of winning if a bare-handed newcomer charges into a fierce battleground filled with note pros and experts who make a living off note. Leave the note talk to the note experts.
-
Above all, I don't want to be buried
Rather than becoming just another "common note theory" piece, I want to write things that only I can write. I believe that, in the end, that will be more interesting for the people who read it.
So, I will continue to base my writing on real-life experiences.
The story of how I turned pale after buying a 5-million-yen car in one lump sum, the story of my 3-year-old son trying to become a big brother, and the story of people leaving my workplace one after another—these are all stories about "my life," not about "note."
I feel that writing articles like this, which are like peeking into someone's real life, is more fun for me to write, and the joy when people read them is greater as well.
So, I would like to take this opportunity to declare my resolution once again.
I will try not to write notes about note as much as possible.
With this note, I will not touch on this topic for a while (probably).
Conclusion
It has only been two weeks since I started, and I have made it this far without knowing my left from my right, but I want to ensure that I never waver from my core principle of 'writing interesting and useful articles based on real experiences.'
By the way, this article itself is a 'note written about note' in every sense, so I am starting off not with 'saying and doing,' but with 'saying and immediately contradicting.' I will try to stick to it properly next time, maybe.
If you find this declaration of determination, full of contradictions, interesting, it would encourage me if you could give me a 'like' or follow me. Thank you for your continued support!
