New Name

I am entering my 9th year on note this year, and I have decided to change my name🙏✨

Today, I will announce my new name here!!(*^^)

Before that, I will briefly talk about the background of the name change.

The name "AoAo" is not my real name.
It is not linked to it at all.
It was a name I decided on for a novel site first.
I liked the color blue, and I thought it would be nice to have a gender-neutral name that isn't influenced by gender.
My real name has a rather cute vibe. I have always wished I could choose my own name freely.

While I feel I should cherish the name my parents gave me, that is separate from whether I really like it.

Honestly, I am not comfortable with people calling me by my real name without any honorifics.
So, I am usually called by a nickname.

With that said, "Ao" was the name I chose for my creative activities, but after I announced the name change project [Key Finding Game], several people declared that they would intentionally not look for a new name because they preferred me to stay as Ao.

Since it was a name I had some attachment to,

Why now, you ask?
After my hiatus due to illness, my feelings have changed.
The desire to simply enjoy music and to love it
has been growing more and more, and I decided to do it without overcomplicating things!
The style of music I create has been changing little by little.
That is also why I started challenging myself with loop music.

I think I could have challenged myself with new music even as Ao, but I decided to take on the challenge with a new name just for the fun of it(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
Also, I feel like the new name fits me better.

I'm sorry for dragging this out for so long🙇‍♀️

It's time for the announcement!!!

My new name is "Migu"!

It's not Gumi, it's Migu in hiragana🫡
I didn't make it in Canva, I made a nameplate by hand using analog tools🖌🎨

For those I interact with personally, you might already know me as "Migu".

I'll be honest about the origin🙇🏻‍♀️⸒⸒
I took it from "Hagu-chan," the heroine of the manga "Honey and Clover."
I just attached the "Mi" from my real name to it.
It's as simple a reason as you can get(´▽`*)

This new name doesn't have any troublesome kanji conversions, so it might be easier to use🎵

If I change my registration suddenly, it might cause confusion, so I'm putting this out as a buffer.
I will change it at 0:00 when the date changes.

Even if the music genre changes, the person inside remains the same.
Although it is only for a limited time of about a month, please treat "Migu" well🤗

※Even after the name change, it is perfectly fine to continue writing and calling me Ao or Ao, as before(｡･ω･)ゞ

I will continue to work on the Koiame Project under the name Ao as well🙏
