\Report/ Botanical Dyeing Workshop Enjoying Natural Colors Held in Tokyo
On Wednesday, February 11, 2026 (National Holiday), SKY’S THE LIMIT, Inc. (Public Relations Department) held a botanical dyeing workshop at CAFE & HALL ours in Tokyo.
This event was planned as a hands-on workshop open to everyone, and on the day, we welcomed a wide range of participants, from parents and children to adults.
Material Provision in Collaboration with Okaki Farm

For this workshop, Okaki Farm, a grape farm in Nagano Prefecture, provided us with grape berries and branches pruned after the harvest.
Using these natural materials, we extracted dye and invited participants to enjoy a botanical dyeing experience that makes the most of nature-derived colors. As an initiative utilizing regional resources, it was an opportunity to learn about the background of the materials and the production site.
The Day's Events and Interaction Among Participants

On the day, participants started by using handkerchiefs, socks, and other items they brought themselves, tying the fabric with rubber bands to create patterns.
The finished dyed works varied in color depending on the differences in materials and fibers, resulting in a finish where each piece expressed its own individuality. Conversations naturally emerged during the work, and many participants were seen interacting while showing each other their completed pieces.
Greeting from the Representative of Okaki Farm

Mr. Yoshiyuki Okaki, Representative of Okaki Farm, also attended the event.
Mr. Okaki introduced the farm's initiatives and his commitment to grape cultivation with the help of videos, conveying to the participants his daily attitude of pursuing ideal quality.
Participant Experience and Finished Works

Even though the same dye was used, the finished works had different shades and textures depending on the material and processing method, resulting in a finish that reflected each person's individuality.
Participants seemed to enjoy the process of their own works changing, experiencing the unique charm of botanical dyeing. The experience of seeing items used in daily life reborn in a new form was memorable for many.
Reflection and Future Outlook

Through this workshop, we were able to share the joy of crafting using natural materials and create a space that promotes interaction among participants.
For the Public Relations Department, it was an opportunity to convey our company's philosophy and values, and we believe it served as a catalyst for deepening understanding of our corporate activities.
Moving forward, SKY’S THE LIMIT, Inc. plans to expand its business, which has been centered in Tokyo, nationwide. While collaborating with individuals and regions who resonate with our values, we aim to continue creating value through hands-on events and initiatives.
