[Experience] A Frontale Supporter Tries Personal Color Analysis (Part 2)

Time for the diagnosis!

I was guided to a spot with a mirror at the back of the salon, where there was a chair, so I sat down. I was wrapped in a white cape, and Kiyono-san said, "Now, let's see what kind of colors suit you," and started by placing a pink cloth against me. There are four types of pink (Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter), and she tried them on me. It seems that looking at the contours of your face makes it easy to tell if a color suits you or not. Colors that don't suit you seem to reflect onto your jawline.

In my case, the Spring pink was the one. This color... I feel like I've seen it somewhere.That's Cerezo Osaka's uniform!I'm glad I'm not a Cerezo supporter... (muttered) It wasn't just the reflection on my face, but I could also see that the area around my décolleté (right where the cloth was draped) looked whiter.

Also, since I am a Yellow Base (warm tone)based on my eyes and such, it goes without saying that I felt uncomfortable with the Blue Base types.

After pink, we tried blue, yellow, and green. When a color didn't suit me, it would react on my jawline, and sometimes it would even look dazzling. As we tried them on several times, I started to understand my own tendencies.

...In my case, I was an Autumn type (warm tone).

"You're a type that's quite rare," said Kiyono-san. Apparently, colors like camel suit me, but it's a color palette that's hard to find at this time of year.
After a while, she said, "You can place your acrylic stands and take pictures if you'd like."

Personal color and photography

Speaking of characolo, they are known for "taking photos with your favorite character." I had seen reports I read beforehand where acrylic stands and such were in the photos. Naturally, I tried that too.

While Kiyono-san was taking notes, I took several photos and grinned. Ah, I'm so glad I was able to do this! At a normal salon, this might be frowned upon, but since this is an otaku-friendly salon, they were like, "Please do!"

After things settled down, when I sat back in my seat, Kiyono-san brought out a diagnosis memo. She had written it carefully as a record of the day.

Then, she showed me a collage of what kind of fashion suits an Autumn type. Apparently, Autumn types look good in tortoiseshell and gold.
I love tortoiseshell accessories. I also like gold. So I was happy about this, and I thought shopping would become more fun.

I also had my cosmetics checked

I was told I could bring the cosmetics I use daily, so I brought them. They were packed into the LeSportsac pouch I usually use (...maybe I should switch to a black Muji pouch)
Color-wise, there were no problems, but I received advice because it didn't feel like they were sticking well.

There were several items recommended by Kiyono-san, so I became interested in them in an instant. Also, since my lipstick was also Lip Monster (Kate), she introduced me to another one of the same type. It goes without saying that I was happy and took notes on my smartphone.
I also received advice about my eyebrows, which had been a challenge for the past few months. I only had a pencil, so she told me it would be good to have an eyebrow mascara and such. I love listening to professionals like this, so I feel like I might come to love makeup even more.

I also booked my next appointment

I felt so happy that I became interested in face type and skeletal analysis as well. I had been told about the latter before it became a trend, but I've reached this point without really understanding it, so I decided to try it again.
When Kiyono-san asked, "Would you like to make a reservation?" I booked one right away. It's a month from now, so I'm really looking forward to it.

You can do it online, but it's set up so that you book available slots on designated days. I requested an individual session, but apparently, the "Total Diagnosis" course, which is a popular one here, is highly competitive.Like trying to apply for a Frontale limited edition uniform (I plan to buy one this year, though).

Anyway, I highly recommend it, so please give it a try.

On my way home, it goes without saying that I got excited looking at recommended cosmetics at a drugstore I stopped by.
I'm planning to look for them at the local Matsu-Kiyo sometime soon.
