[Story] #2: My Actions

Thank you all for opening this!!

You can find the previous article here👇

As my heart grew, I entered high school and began to thoroughly pursue the things I wanted to do and the things I was interested in.

Middle and high school competitions, Japanese language volunteering, participating in seminars, taking classes on gacco and receiving certificates of completion, submitting and presenting papers at the Information Processing Society of Japan, participating in projection mapping, assisting in planning film screenings, participating in Discover hosted by J. F. Oberlin University, and planning volunteer projects for school festivals, among others.

The list goes on and on, but I have taken action in a wide variety of areas and made them my own.

I believe that the experience gained from participating in these events is more important than the results.

Honestly, before I participated in these events, I didn't understand myself at all—what I wanted to do or what I was capable of.

However, by first taking the action of diving headfirst into various things, I deepened my own learning and began to take an interest in a wide range of topics.

First, I would participate and enter things without deciding whether I liked them or not, and once I had joined, I gave it my all.

Thanks to that, I was able to extend my reach into fields I hadn't been interested in, research them myself, and see the current situation with my own eyes.

These are experiences and knowledge I surely wouldn't have gained if I had been picky.

The things I became interested in and the knowledge I gained are as follows.

Basic knowledge of debate, basic computer skills, things to be aware of when volunteering for language support, how to write academic papers, the relationship between airports and the declining birthrate and aging population, how to create projection mapping, basic knowledge of generative AI, how to schedule appointments with external parties, and so on.

I don't think it would have borne fruit as knowledge or experience if I had just done it half-heartedly.

However, because I gave it my all, my creations and the fruits of my efforts still remain today, and I have been able to keep them as my portfolio.

Also, another reason I was able to participate in so many events is that I hated studying💦

Rather than sitting at a desk, deciding things for myself and taking action suited my personality much better, haha.

I'm sure it must have been difficult for my teachers. I am grateful to them🙏🙏

That drive to take action still applies today, and I am giving my all to trial and error as I post here on Note and on X.

I think you will all be convinced of this, given that while doing other things, I have managed 53 articles on Note in two months and 605 posts on X in two months.

It is precisely because I am taking action that my own content has been newly formed in this way.

I encourage you all to take action and build your own portfolio.

If you can look at things from a long-term perspective of experience and knowledge, rather than just being swayed by the results, you will surely be able to give your all to anything you do.

How was it so far?
I am not perfect from the start myself, so I would like to incorporate those aspects into projects like this. (I would be happy if sharing that process could serve as a reference to help you form a positive mindset!)

The more of a gap someone has, the more of a story they have.

Please, try to find your own story as well. See you later 👋
