The Job Called Farming
I am a farmer. Right now, I am chasing after shipping tasks and spending my days incredibly busy.
Farming is a very tough job. The harvest is greatly influenced by the weather that year, whether it is heavy rain or extreme heat, it is a series of nerve-wracking moments.
At such times, I overcome crises by complaining with seniors and colleagues, laughing at silly stories, and exchanging information.
Around me, there are quite a few people who were originally company employees and took over their family's farming for various reasons and at various times.
I also happened to marry a farmer's daughter. I never dreamed 20 years ago that I, who was a company employee, would be doing farming.
It has been truly difficult up to this point. It has been a series of struggles.
But no matter how hard the work is, or how things don't go as planned, the words everyone says in unison are,
"I never want to go back to my days as a company employee."
Decide for yourself, act for yourself, and take responsibility for yourself. Everything depends on you. Even when I am exhausted or my back hurts, my heart is always free.
And, my hard work shows up in the results very clearly. What an interesting job it is.
It is about time for the year-end party notifications to go around from my colleagues.
For some reason, these days, I am a little happy.
