Poem: "Smile"

"Smile"

If I could turn my face into an emoji
Socializing would feel so much easier
For example, even if I went to a party I hated
I wouldn't have to force a fake smile

Faces are incredibly talkative, you know
Laughing, getting angry, blushing, even showing fatigue...
Are you hiding behind a mask?
Wouldn't it be better if faces were just emojis?

Grinning, sobbing, laughing out loud, fuming
I want to choose and swap them myself
A hand-drawn smiley face would be nice too
Let's hold a contest... and decide the best one‼️

We used to laugh so innocently
But we get so awkward once we grow up
It's even a hassle to watch comedy shows
I realized I hadn't laughed in a while

Moles, dimples, laugh lines, and such?
Slanted eyes, droopy eyes, narrow eyes, wide eyes?
Once you start worrying, you can't stop
I really want to convert them into emojis

Grinning, sobbing, laughing out loud, fuming
If the whole town were overflowing with them, it would be fun
Reading people's faces, living in fear
Let's say goodbye to that way of living‼️

I really want smiles to overflow everywhere
To you who says, "I don't smile..."
Surround those around you with smiles instead‼️
