Within just 410 characters! We are holding the "Short Short note Cup," a short story contest that anyone can easily enter!
We want new writers to be born into this world through the joy of playing games. With that desire in mind, the project team developed the card game "Short Short note," which was released in June and has been enjoyed by many people.
Three months after its release, the event we had been planning since the very beginning on note is finally starting.
A short short contest on note, hosted by the product's manufacturer, Partners Co., Ltd., and featuring Masatomo Tamaru, the game's supervisor, as the head judge.
We call it the "Short Short note Cup"!
Using the card game that allows anyone to write a short short in just a few minutes as a reference, we hope many people will apply, especially those who have never written a novel before and those who want to become writers in the future!
While this is not a contest with great authority, we want it to be an event where everyone can enjoy short shorts even more. We hope you will participate with excitement and ease.
*This article is posted on the note account of toy creator Shinpei Takahashi, who was in charge of game development, but the event is hosted by the product manufacturer, Partners Co., Ltd. Please direct any inquiries to the Partners Co., Ltd. contact window at the end of this article.
The outline is provided below.
What is the Short Short note Cup?
It is a short short (a short and mysterious story) contest held on note, hosted by Partners Co., Ltd., the manufacturer of Short Short note. A variety of awards, including the Grand Prize, will be established and judged by a panel of judges consisting mainly of the development team.
What is a short short?
Simply put, it is a "short and mysterious story." More specifically, it is a "story with an idea and an impressive ending that makes use of it." Because of its brevity, one of its main attractions is that it can be read and written quickly. In this contest, please don't worry about whether it is a "true short short" or not; just feel free to write and have fun.
Application conditions and method
・Anyone can apply. (Applications where someone else writes down the author's spoken words are also OK. Of course, the work must be original and not infringe on the copyright or any other rights of a third party.)
・On the media platform "note," write a short short of 410 characters or less, using the title of the work as the article title, and post it with the hashtag " #ShortShortNoteCup ".
*410 characters is a pun on "short (410)".
*Please don't forget to include the "Cup" at the end of the hashtag.
・You can submit as many works as you like. However, please write one work per article (one post).
・If you write text other than the work in the article, such as an introduction, please make it clear where the work of 410 characters or less begins and ends. The title of the note article you post must be the title of the short short.
・Please choose the title of your work from the following 1 to 11. (Of course, you are free to interpret the titles however you like!)
1. "Talking Piano"
2. "100 Million Yen Low-Calorie"
3. "Restructuring Co., Ltd."
4. "Analog Bilingual"
5. "Illegal Refrigerator"
6. "Math Gyoza"
7. "The Ever-Changing Detective"
8. "Flying Straight"
9. "Rich Juliet"
