Parents who can't invest. What about their children?
The current generation in their 40s and 50s
grew up in an atmosphere where they were told, "Don't talk about money" and "Investing is dangerous."
I believe they are the generation that grew up in that kind of environment.
So, even though they are actually at the age where they most need to face money matters,
they feel a sense of hesitation somewhere.
This is less about a lack of knowledge,
and more like an "ingrained sense."
So, what happens to their children's generation?
This is where they diverge.
Will they keep their distance just like their parents,
or will they take action, thinking, "This isn't good as it is"?
But now, with NISA and plenty of information available,
it's an era where you can do as much as you want if you try.
That is precisely why what's important
is not to teach them perfectly,
but to avoid passing on that "atmosphere of keeping money at a distance" as it is.
You don't have to be an expert.
You don't even have to be doing it yourself.
But don't deny it.
Don't make it a taboo.
Show an attitude of thinking about it together.
I believe that alone will significantly change the starting line for the next generation.
This series is compiled in a magazine. It's easier to understand the flow if you read them all together.
