この曲は、「失敗＝消すもの」という前提そのものに疑問を投げるところから始まります。
評価や偏差値で切り分けられる中で、削除したくなる過去や“黒歴史”こそが、実は自分の輪郭をつくっているのではないか、という視点です。

途中に出てくる「11時と12時」の描写は、その象徴として入れています。
11時台の時計の針は重ならない。でもそれは壊れているわけではなく、ただ“重ならない時間を通過しているだけ”です。
そして12時になれば、また自然に重なる。

人の人生も同じで、「うまくいっていない時間」や「噛み合わない期間」を、すぐに失敗と定義しなくていい。
それは単なるズレであって、流れの中にあるひとつの状態にすぎない、という意味を込めています。

だからこの曲では、「遠回り」や「失敗」を成功のための手段としてではなく、それ自体に価値があるものとして扱っています。
消すのではなく、そのまま持ったまま進んでいくこと。
それが結果的に、その人にしか出せない厚みやリアリティになる、という感覚を歌ってみました！
