The reason my header images are rough is that I am currently in a "growth phase." I plan to improve slowly at both dancing and drawing.

Some of you who read my notes may have thought,
"I feel like the content of the article and the header image don't quite match..."
"Or rather, isn't the drawing a bit rough?"
Many of them are drawings of cats.

Some are even rough sketches that I hesitate to call drawings.
We live in an era where you can easily get wonderful free images or beautiful illustrations created by AI.

"Why go out of your way to post your own drawings of this quality?"
I felt myself that it was inevitable for people to think that.
So today, I would like to write a little "excuse."

■ Why cats?

First of all, the reason there are so many cats is simply because I love them.
No, to be precise, I love all mammals.

I have two 3-year-old cats at home.
Every day, I am healed by their spontaneous gestures.

■ Why post rough self-made drawings?

There is one reason.
It is because I am practicing.

I draw Japanese-style paintings as a hobby, and I am planning to create a work featuring "my cats" in the near future.
As practice for that, I am diligently drawing every day using "ibisPaint" on my iPad.

It is a completely different sensation from Japanese-style painting on paper or cloth, which is conversely interesting.
I am in the middle of learning little by little at my own pace while having my middle school niece teach me the functions.

The note header image is like a "practice book" for that.
I decided to go ahead and post them as they are, to keep them as a record.

■ I want to keep challenging myself even as an adult

I have always had a habit of "challenging myself with various things in parallel."

I am currently challenging myself with dance,
I draw,
I continue writing notes,
I am taking on new initiatives in my hospital work,
and I am trying various things every day.

My growth speed is not fast.
Rather, it is quite slow.

But I feel that this "relaxed, at-my-own-pace challenge" is like me.
And I think that for me right now, many things, including drawing and dancing, are in a "growth phase."

■ I would be happy if you could watch over me

The header images will surely change little by little from now on.
If one day the "rough cat" looks a little cuter,
please laugh and say, "Oh, it has grown."

I would be happy if you could warmly watch over not only my writing,
but also my various challenges.
