[Action Guideline 2] Create Safety and Deliver Peace of Mind

We not only contribute to the safety of society but also approach our own work with safe practices. Safety is not something to be protected, but something we must 'create' ourselves. By acquiring knowledge and skills and putting them into action, safety is created, and as a result, we can deliver peace of mind to everyone involved. Let us build trust every day and become people who can provide a sense of security to our customers.

• Master basic operations, wear appropriate protective equipment, and conduct KY (hazard prediction) activities. Since safety awareness can easily lapse, we must awaken it through daily actions such as pointing and calling. The accumulation of these actions is the only way to raise safety awareness and eliminate accidents.

• Safety is a skill. Accidents occur when you touch equipment without understanding how it works. Rather than relying on excessive management, we ensure safety by having each individual deepen their understanding of the equipment and by improving our technical capabilities as an organization.

• We must never cause a major disaster! Learn from and anticipate not only our own company's cases but also those of other companies. Use your imagination. Assuming that humans will make mistakes, perform one final check using manuals and checklists.

• The primary premise is to never cause an accident, but if one does occur, respond to it as the top priority. Then, identify the cause of the accident and think about how to prevent recurrence through structural changes. Do not end it with 'I will be careful' or 'I will be thorough'.

• If a colleague or partner company is performing a dangerous act, call them out on it. Even if it is a supervisor or a customer, convey it sincerely. Elevate safety until it can be called an organizational culture.

• 80% of accidents are the result of management negligence. Do not leave safety to individuals; work on it as an organization, including our partner companies.
