The Navigator is the Me Who Is Always With Me
Hi there! Good evening.
It's Shiorin! 😽💙
Finally!!!!
I've been able to start working where I wanted to work! 👏
I'm so happy. ☺️
Currently, I work a cleaning job in the morning,
and I have been looking for a job I can do in the afternoon. 🌟
For the past few years,
I worked full-time as a temp,
but the stress of working in the same place with the same people,
and the stress of trying to fit in with people I didn't get along with,
made it impossible for me to work,
and for the last two years, I've had jobs lasting only six months, two months, or even three days,
and I've increasingly been unable to keep a job and have been getting sick.
After my seventh job change in two years, I finally decided,
I'm going to change the way I work!
And that brings me to where I am now.
It was truly exhausting.
It was truly painful.
I blamed myself so much,
and although I never had much self-confidence to begin with,
I gradually lost sight of my own reason for existing.
At the same time, precisely because I didn't know my reason for existing,
I started thinking a lot about how I could love myself.
Because I can do something,
Because I'm useful for something,
Because I'm needed by others
For me, these things
did not serve as reasons
to love myself.
When I became ill with insomnia
and couldn't work,
I really faced the version of myself that felt like I couldn't do anything.
What was it that I, who had been working so hard for the sake of something,
really wanted?
It was very simple.
To embrace my current self
and say, 'It's okay just the way you are.'
That is simple, but
it took me a very long time.
But now,
whether I love myself or have confidence,
it doesn't matter to me anymore.
When you're actually doing that,
you don't really care
whether you're doing it or not.
Because I can just,
just focus on what I need to do right now.
As I continued to do that,
I encountered my current cleaning job
and the call center job I work in the afternoon.
Even though it's a call center,
it's different from what people generally think,
and once I learned it, it was a job I could do steadily on my own!
I am very easily influenced by the people I work with, so
working with people who are irritable, emotional, or
people who don't consider others' feelings
was truly painful.
But because I had those experiences,
I was able to clearly understand what I hate and what is impossible for me,
and
precisely because I interacted with various people in various jobs,
I think I was led to the place that is necessary for me now.
No experience is ever a waste!!!
Today, while I was doing my cleaning job in the morning,
it was so hot that I felt like I had heatstroke while working,
and I lost my composure
and feelings of irritation started to sprout.
At that time, the usual me
would have been influenced by that irritation,
but today,
Ah! It's okay for this emotion to exist within me🌱
when I thought that,
even with that irritated feeling,
I was able to focus on the work in front of me😁
Because I know
that it's not actually a bad thing!
Then, I felt so much more at ease.
But the heatstroke-like feeling didn't go away,
so I went home and slept from exhaustiono(__*)Zzz
I had a workplace visit in the afternoon,
so I forced my tired body up and did my best to go.
Like this, it was a tumultuous day, but
I had a very fulfilling day🍀
I'm excited
that I'll be able to spend my time happily
in the way I want to work😚
The road to get here was too long, but
for now,
well done, me!!!☕
I'll start working from Monday right away💪
There is definitely a place that is necessary for me.
There are definitely colleagues I am meant to meet.
Believing that, I have worked in various places
based on my intuition until now.
There were places I quit immediately, so
there were also many times
when I couldn't trust my intuition.
But you know, working for a long time
might not have been the right answer for me.
The right answer for me is being able to
genuinely feel,
like, 'This work is fun!' or
'I'm happy to work with this person!'
that I can think those things.
I decided to keep letting the navigator
of my happiness, which only I know,
work
and move forward🐈️🐾
Only you know
the right answer for you🌐
So, please trust your intuition.
Thank you for your hard work this week as well 🍺
