Nice to meet you. I'm Shinichiro.
I am a former salesman who continues to be excited by new things, and I am currently active as a Marvelous Hunter (someone who chases after surprises and wonders) as my calling.

For nearly 20 years, I have worked across multiple industries including IT, construction, traditional Japanese corporations, and foreign-owned manufacturers,
honing my
"ability to find challenges" and
"ability to get close to people."

The "people" and "workplaces" I encountered along that path have made me who I am today.

■ The "roots" grown from a diverse career

🌱 Building a foundation in the IT industry

Through the sales of SEO tools and office equipment, I learned the ABCs of sales and cultivated the ability to lead teams. I have experience leading a total of 20 subordinates at the age of 24 as the youngest manager. My belief that "sales begins after being rejected" was brewed during this time. Let's go!

🏗️ Gaining management experience in the construction industry
Beyond managing sites as an executive, I took on a wide range of challenges including human resources, labor management, fundraising, handling unpaid accounts, and launching new businesses. I learned business PDCA, the grit to endure hard work even without sleep, and resilience here.

⚙️ Becoming a top salesperson at a manufacturer
For a total of 14 years at traditional Japanese manufacturers and foreign-owned manufacturers, I traveled all over Japan to hone my sales skills, winning first place in the country multiple times.
"Trust is everything in sales"... It was because of this experience that I came to hold this belief.

Coexistence with Technology: The Potential of AI x Sales

In an era of rapid change, coexistence with technology is essential.
I make full use of Microsoft Office, Apple iWork, and ChatGPT, and I can also use design tools (such as Canva).
Currently, I am working hard to acquire web marketing and generative AI skills.
This is because I believe there is a possibility that the profession of "sales" may disappear in the distant future.

Outlook for the Future

Continuing to learn is the power to live

"Lifelong learning is essential to adapt to 21st-century job-based employment."
Based on this idea, I catch up on the latest trends through activities at the Japan Reskilling Consortium and Startup Hub Tokyo Tama.
Most recently, I took Google AI Essentials and updated my knowledge.

⚾ Baseball: Won a prize in a prefectural tournament during junior high school (currently suffering from lower back pain and frozen shoulder...)

🎉 Party Planning: Organized events on a scale of 100 people before COVID (now mainly home parties)

I used to spend my days bound by time, putting off the things I wanted to do.
Thinking "I'll do it someday," I realized years had passed.
But now it's different. With my passion as my axis, I have become able to use my time freely and choose a way of life that I am satisfied with.
