Achieve New Year's Goals in the First Half of January
Happy New Year.
I look forward to your continued support this year.
I tried delivering my New Year's greeting in the style of a 'Kyoto-dialect Ittan-momen'.
How is everyone spending New Year's Eve and New Year's Day?
I spent New Year's Eve cleaning, watching Kohaku, and watching a movie on Netflix about a high school girl assassin fighting the yakuza.
Today, on New Year's Day, I'm taking care of errands and watching the rest of that movie about the high school girl assassin fighting the yakuza.
(Writing it out like this gives off a subculture vibe that smells like Village Vanguard)
Well, with all that said, it's 2024.
I imagine many of you are setting New Year's goals or thinking about things you want to do during these first three days of the year?
And for the goals you've set, I think many people tend to plan their pace evenly over the course of the entire year.
I think that's one way to do it, but most people forget the goals they set for the New Year.
Therefore, I recommend starting with a furious sprint and moving with the momentum to achieve your goals by around the first half of January.
Regarding the '100 things I want to do in the New Year' that I wrote about on note a few days ago, if there is anyone who actually wrote down 100 things, I think it's a good idea to aim for the momentum of getting about half of them done within January.
Unlike in sports, it seems that a false start is not a violation of the rules.
Let's get off to a great start in 2024.
