【Commentary】
・Edgar Degas's "The Dance Class" (1874) is one of the masterpieces of 19th-century French Impressionism. This painting depicts ballet, a characteristic theme of Degas, and shows a scene from a ballet class in the rehearsal studio of the Paris Opera.
・In the center of the painting, you can see the ballet teacher and the ballerinas. The teacher is standing on the right, and the young ballerinas are shown receiving his instruction.
