Creating Magazines 💛 Privacy Settings and How to Use Them

If you think, "I want to keep an eye on this person's note," it's convenient to create a magazine 💛

Did you know that if you create this magazine with a "private" setting, only you can see it?! (I didn't know that!!)

If you create and publish a magazine that compiles useful information written by others, the magazine itself might even get followed.

I have summarized how to create, set privacy for, and delete magazines.

How to create a magazine

Click your icon in the top right of note to open your creator page.

Select "Magazine" and click "+" to create a new magazine.

Setting a magazine image

You can create a magazine without an image, but...

Click the camera icon to set an image for your magazine.

Select an image and save it.

Enter magazine title and description

Enter the magazine name and description.

Publish the magazine

Click the "Update" button to complete the creation of your magazine.

You can also create a private magazine just for yourself!

The default privacy setting for a note is "Public".

Switch it to "Private" to make it visible only to you!

Changing or editing basic magazine information

By clicking the "Settings" button on a magazine you have created, you can change or edit the magazine's basic information.

Magazines can also be deleted

You can also delete it by clicking the "Delete Magazine" button.

How to add articles to a magazine

Click the "Save article" icon displayed at the bottom of a note article.

Once added to the magazine, the display will change to "Added".

Click the "Close" button to complete adding to the magazine!

In a magazine, you can register not only your own articles but also articles written by others. If you collect useful information, your magazine might even get followed.

Reordering and deleting articles registered in a magazine

You can also change the order of or delete articles registered in a magazine.

Click the green text that says "Reorder/Delete".

By default, articles are displayed in the order they were added

Date ascending/descending

You can also sort the order of articles in ascending or descending order.

How to pin an article to the top

You can also pin an article to the top of your magazine.

Check the box for "Pin the first article to the magazine" and click the "Save" button to pin the top article.

For example, you can create a table of contents for each magazine and pin it to the top of the magazine.

Categorize your articles with note magazines!

By using note magazines, you can also categorize your articles.

By creating magazines in this way, you can make it easier to read past articles by category.
